Interesting you mention Paul Simpson.
My contact in Carlisle says 'Simmo' has had his head turned by another club a bit further south !!.
I mentioned Paul Simpson but think Brown has done what's been asked of him.
One year contract with quarterly milestones.
Not right to sack him after what he has done
Oh I agree with you Pedro.
I was just saying what my brother in law was telling me as he lives in Carlisle.

Who'd want to run a football club - must be a nightmare trying to make big decisions.

Your contact must be that heavy drinker in the Beehive. He knows as much about Simmo as he does about the debt. 👍

Who cares about Carlisle or their manager?
Our real 'Derby' could still be on the cards, hopefully, if Gillingham win on Saturday and MORECAMBE lose!

You would also need Fleetwood to beat Bolton

True - and they could.
But hope Gillingham win. Even Fleetwood would be a better 'Derby' than Carlisle. Shit place in Cumbria with a stadium not much better than our own. And like last time we played The Cod Army - candyfloss and beer in Blackpool! :D

I realise some people would like to see Morecambe relegated so we have another "Derby" game but I would like to see them stay up. It was a lovely gesture by their club to fly the banner over Holker Street welcoming us back into the football league and didn't they also vote for us to stay in the Conference during our financial problems. I also thought that Hitler rant video posted on YouTube about us fans not being allowed to go to Morecambe after they got promoted was hilarious.

So as far as I'm concerned hopefully Morecambe will beat the drop next season and we'll get them in the EFL Trophy instead of our usual opponents Accrington. Up the Shrimps

Northampton Town next Saturday should be a classic. As it stands right now - they might need to win to clinch the third automatic promotion spot. I expect the away end to be sold out.

Let's spoil the party! :D
