So was it Zanzala who was poor or that idiot Cooper that blasted his confidence?
Worst manager we have had in years. Nearly destroyed our club.
It's funny IWas saying this same thing yesterday ,Zanzala was injured after that Cooper played him didn't play him openly critised him and Gordon no wonder they both went backwards it must have been awful playing for him e.g. platt and Canavan they were playing like strangers!

Lots of posters on here were waxing lyrical including myself when Mark Cooper came here a well known experienced Manager who had done well previously with other teams and how wrong we were a totally over rated sour faced moaner who would have got us relegated no question about that personally the only thing he got right was letting Zanzala go to Exeter and his Captain Ellis to the national league ;)

Coopers big summer signings.
One would think he was wanting the sack and a pay off 🤔

Might be an idea to google Zanzala and Gordon - I did and posted their stats on here. Nothing to do with Cooper and them going backwards. They never went forward with any of the clubs that they have played for! The only mistake Cooper made was signing them! If it was him?

Stats can be very misleading. Robbie savage has won more trophies than Harry Kane so does that mean he’s a better player? No it doesn’t. Cherry picking stats to prove a point is all you’ve done. Look at Gordon’s work rate. He’s not an out and out goal scorer but he’s a nuisance for defenders

Gaffers can bring out the best / worse in any player?

Maybe Briwnie can turn Flash into a almost complete forward?
He does most things right & really harasses defenders, If Brownie gets him shooting earlier & more often & he doubles his average tally then we have a player on our hands.

I was focussing on his goals - or lack of them - rather than his stats themselves. Work rate counts for nothing, fella, if you cant hit the back of the net. Our lack of goals is why we've been in a relegation battle - not because of the work rate of our players :?

I doubt if Jürgen Kraut or Pep Guardiola could make him a better player.
A striker who only scored 21 goals in 3 seasons at Walsall ain't suddenly gonna become Harry Kane, now, is he? Get rid!

I attended most home games and quite a few away games when Quigley was playing for us, fella. I wonder where YOU were when Tony Field, Jimmy Mulholland, Jimmy Mulvaney, Colin Cowperwaite and Jason Walker were playing for us :?: Never mind; you've probably never heard of them. You were probably too busy reading through the 'Dummies Guide for Gob Shi*es'

Regarding Quigley's record - I agree. However; we had a manager at the time - Ian Evett - who obviously had a gift for recognising potential and helping players to blossom. Recently, all we've had is a couple of managers who wouldn't know a decent striker from a below average dish washer.

Pathetic dig at a top manager and derogatory at best,
Embarrassing.

Not born, not born, not born, still not born and at the side of the pitch passing the team balls when they went out. Sorry that I couldn’t watch players when I wasn’t around

You're absolutely right there, strikers with bad goalscoring records never suddenly turn into Harry Kane. You wouldn't go signing a fella like this would you?
