Haven't seen much of the friendlies so far. What are we like going forward in the absence of Bennett? Concerned we may be looking a bit lightweight again up front.

Wild said in his interview with Adam that he is looking for a centre forward.

First test against a team of similar standard and we get beat.
Injuries to Bennett,Rooney etc worrying.
Cannot understand bringing Jason I've no legs Taylor on when he will not be playing much but left other players on bench who would have benefitted from a run out.
Poor take on the game. Was bogged down by niggly Fleetwood challenges. Neither side made too many chances. Team crafted in Browns image.

Red card changed the game and nothing happened until the wonder goal.
Barrow were building up well at times before the red card. Can't argue with the sending off though...

Too far away to get an idea of the sending off but up until that we were holding our own. Fair bit of gamesmanship by Fleetwood which the ref failed to pick up particularly one in front of the Popular side where Tom White was blatantly blocked going for the ball after pushing it past the man. Like last season two smallish forwards are not going to cut it in this league.

Fleetwood did not have it easy Pedro until our 2 injuries and an unjust sending off caused a lot of changes which disrupted our rhythm.Liked a lot of what I saw we passed well at times and the sideways and backwards movement mostly eradicated.Obviously after sending off tactics had to change and I thought we were playing quite well with ten in no trouble till a wonder goal by fleetwood.More worried about all the injuries we collecting so early.Liked that Billy waters and the irish lad and stevens looks a different player again under new tegime.Manager said that both he and morecambe manager told ref it wasn’t a red card and just to let us take him off but the jobsworth wasn’t having it.It looked a fifty fifty tackle from where I was and the lad got up quite quickly and carried on with no obvious injury. The abysmal standard of officials looks set to continue. With Rooney still not match fit and Bennet out I am already worrying about where goals coming from.Attendancd given I think as 1100 not sure how accurate that was but quite a few there and pitch looked good.Onwards to Salford.

From the angle I saw the incident I thought Gordon was fouled !!!
Ref was poor, hopefully not another season of "Look at me"
Lightweight up top without Bennett, need another target man.
Some big players missing. Bennett, Gotts, Brough Kay, Rooney

It was a very poor and needless challenge and he really gave the ref no choice. 5 yds outside the Fleetwood box. I’m afraid Gordon is not an intelligent footballer. Good runner and works hard but let’s himself down with too many poor decisions. He’s now got a 3 match ban . Thanks Josh. We seem to be strong at the back and in middle . Liked the look of Waters - good technically, and hard worker. Think he’ll do well but we need a big mobile centre forward who can score. Got to get someone in soon or fear the worst .

What i took from that game was mostly all in the first half.

Positive-
We looked well organised as a unit and i think we will be stronger defensively.
Jordan Stevens looked lively just in behind behind Waters and Gordon,
Whole team worked tirelessly when out of possession.
Fitness levels looking good all round on a muggy night

Not so positive
We seem to come out second best in the hard challenges and think we have another one to nurse back (Foley)
Would like to have seen us be a bit bolder with the ball in and around the opposition box, don’t think we had too many chances, but neither did F’wood
Think we lacking a bit of pace moving the ball forward
Jury out on whether we need some physicality up front. As busy as Gordon and Waters are, L2 Centre Backs can deal with it.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

You obviously weren’t at the game. Very negative and unnecessary remarks, but we all know you like a good moan most of the time about something. Barrow the better side, playing with a lot of energy and a high press, but created few chances. Fleetwood resorted to dirty play, and looked frustrated. Gordon’s sending off changed the nature of the game. A soft goal to give away in the build up, but a cracking shot. I’m cautiously optimistic.

It's called having a opinion but I will accept your view just wish it was more constructive rather than abuse.

Do friendlies mean bans? Don't think that's true as it's not a competitive game.
