You would have though that wall at the Crossbar. end would make the club money as a prime site for advertising especially as it’s in a perfect position to be captured by tv cameras

Well that's the question - is it finished or not?
Rome wasnt built in a day but a lot can be done in 7 days!..
Just think, God made the earth and everything else in seven days!?
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans

Brilliant win at Stockport 11 pages, Some Paint on a wall 11 pages, who will be first to 12 pages, if we lose on Saturday blame the wall not the team.

It’s forum for people to air their views & the vast majority think that wall looks awful.

Never lose sight of the fact that this forum is not necessarily representative of what supporters think. There are probably 50 or so regular contributors on here, often with differing views. We had gates of around 3000 home fans last season. 2,950 unexpressed views if my guess at the figures are roughly correct.

Moonwatcher wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 9:49 am The wall at the Crossbar/Steelworks end is toe-curlingly awful, and will make the club a laughing stock. However bad it looks from inside the ground on match day, you can bet your life it'll look even worse on the TV highlights show, or, perish the thought, if we get selected for a live cup match. It HAS to go. Please. Please.
It's probably bought and paid for by now.. just think what that money could have gone towards?

Not at all if you look back at the replies you will realize some of clubs staunchest supporters are against it.

It’s not really moaning is it. It does just look crap. I don’t think anyone on here has actually said they like it. Does anybody think it looks good?i

My god... if we are hoping whatever is on the wall in the tunnel is an important part of our football success or not, we have real problems!!

It's art, it looks ok, I don't care.. what I do want to see is all the passion you all have over such a menial thing on the terraces and hopefully in the team.

Good vibe about the current manager and team, let's perhaps turn our attention to that.

I just don't get this.... Are you suggesting anyone who shows concern about the image of the club will somehow be less supporting of the team? You say menial I, and clearly others, say a backward step in losing the "tinpot" label that personally grates with me. The vibe about the team and manager, good or bad, is not connected in any way. I dread to think how much but money has been spent on these projects, I guarantee the GMV could have spent it better.
