Sutton v Barrow match thread
Re: Sutton v Barrow match thread
Listening to Radio Carlisle on Freeview 721 since 2pm and no Barrow (apart from a brief clip from PW). Is Adam stuck on the motorway?

Seem to be inviting a bit of pressure in these opening minutes.
Don't let the old man in.

35 degrees at kick off. It's brutally hot here.
Re: Sutton v Barrow match thread
Sounds as though we are struggling with Sutton's direct approach - as we did in the second half at Stockport. Hope we can hold out til HT and hopefully PW will sort things out.

Doesn't help that they're a big bullying side that just foul everytime you go forward.

Referee is letting them get away with plenty. They should have had a booking half way through first half.

We just cannot play our normal game today. There is absolutely no way you can press hard in this heat.
I feel like it's going to carry on being cagey until 80 mins and then one last push.

Defending well but losing midfield battle and 3 forwards have done nothing.

Sounds like a defensive error of some form.
Popular side since '03.
Re: Sutton v Barrow match thread
seemed like the ball just bounced over Farman in a bundle of players as they went down.

Sutton keeper vomiting. Presumably due to heat stroke. Grim.
