Another fantastic performance by the Bluebirds who stood strong and soaked up the pressure.Josh Gordon was immense again.Onwards and upwards.Who thought last season that Barrow AFC could play like this.This team is better than the one under Ian Evatt.If we manage to beat Leyton Orient next Saturday we could end up top.Who would have thought that possible for little old Barrow.Well done to everyone,the supporters who made the long trek,all the backroom staff and especially Pete Wild for making the impossible possible.

Well,well,well! Certainly worth getting up at five this morning to venture over and visit our Welsh cousins. Very hospitable of them to be the architects of their own downfalls. Some sublime crab like soccer in their own half’s to edge out the possession stats. But rarely threatened in the final third. Josh Gordon’s opener was like a knife through butter. Foley superb again. The work rate throughout the team was relentless and stifled their efforts when they did venture into the final third. Nicely taken penalty by Josh but they probably felt a little aggrieved when the ball appeared to strike a Barrow arm in the area at the other end. Those are the breaks the sun always shines on the righteous so they say. And we certainly basked in it today. Hope Meddy approved from his prime view seat looking down on us all

They tried to get as many balls in the box as possible. They obviously saw how we conceded vs Northampton.. but today our back line was immense - especially Canavan.
