What the [SwearFilter] are you talking about, you understand people turning on their team after 40 minutes. The fact of the first half was we conceded 2 sloppy goals, shared the possession without creating a lot, the manager recognised this , made changes and we dominate the second half. If your gonna constantly get on the team or individual mistakes, then just leave this forum, because many on here are pathetic, never played the game and don’t understand football at this level.ossickbluebird wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 6:09 pm Totally understand people slating the team after the first 40 minutes, we were pretty awful and it did look like it could get embarrassing, but give PW credit for admitting he'd made a mistake and the tactical nous to correct it. He's still learning and it certainly came off for him today.

Re: Mansfield v Barrow match thread
First of all, well done to the boys for yesterdays comeback and result and respect to the hardy bunch who travelled to Mansfield and saw it first hand.
I was wondering if Pete Wild thought as we have a difficult period over the next few games, could he take this game as a “freebie” where he could try something different to see if it worked, and therefore give himself something to think about going forward?
Obviously it didn’t work but he was quick enough to see his mistake and understand what he needed to do to rectify it.
Maybe, if he had tried the “back 3” option when Sam McClellend is back rather than Connor Brown.
Connor Brown always gives his all, but is never a centre back, and maybe playing him on the right would give him the balance he needed and for it to be an option going forward he needed using that formation?

Too many to quick to slag the team off, same as the booing that goes on at the matches, what are they expecting. Calling for the managers head they need to get a grip or stop going.

Re: Mansfield v Barrow match thread
I’m chatting generally now not aimed at this game, On here we often see comments like, Garbage I’m not watching that again or I’m not wasting my money going to the match etc, But you don’t hear them say it at LFC or MU etc why?? They have howlers, They often get hammered or play bad, It’s a kind of footy snobbery imhoCromwell58 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 11:31 am Too many to quick to slag the team off, same as the booing that goes on at the matches, what are they expecting. At the end of the day the players are playing in league 2 for a reason. If they were consistent performers they’d be snapped up by league one or above. Gordon for example been hammered on here for not scoring every week. 11 goals this season now where would we be without him? Get behind the team ffsCromwell58 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 11:31 am Too many to quick to slag the team off, same as the booing that goes on at the matches, what are they expecting. Great comeback from the Team, He only got 20+ minutes but Elliot Newby will be a good signing for the Club.

Barrow are the only club to have 2 players in the top ten scorers in league 2.Big_Bluebird wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 12:35 pmAt the end of the day the players are playing in league 2 for a reason. A fan's view of the match. There's a few bits of writing now on the Trust website.

No one will give us a chance against the league leaders so a draw would be a great resultCromwell58 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 3:03 pm If we manage a draw at Orient be more than happy with the last two games.

Leyton Orient have only scored 1 goal (a wonder goal last Saturday) in their last 4 matches so a draw at least is a possibility.LCBAFC40 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:52 pmNo one will give us a chance against the league leaders so a draw would be a great resultCromwell58 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 3:03 pm If we manage a draw at Orient be more than happy with the last two games.
