There’s some very poor commentary teams but these two are terrible. Before KO “Holker St is still a non league ground” well yes, but give the reason, 48 years of next to no investment. “I’ve been to Holker St twice and both times some of the corrugated roofing fell off” well that absolutely must be a lie! Two cheap shots at our ground, no need at all.

Sam Mc simply being dropped isn’t good enough! Putting Warren & Ray back into the team when it was plain to see earlier in the season that when them two play without Sam Mc they are a mistake waiting to happen. As much as PW has given us a season to be proud of - he got it wrong today.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Poor today. Never looked like scoring.

Re Sam Mc - wonder if now we are safe Wild wants to see what his contracted players are made of? We surely won’t be getting Sam back next season.

Agreed. Inexplicable decision. Not only are McClelland and Canavan our best defenders but as a team Barrow defend better with a back 3 of McClelland, Ray and Canavan as Ray is then protected by the 2 to his right and left and Warren can then play as a wing-back because he's decent going forward but can't defend!
Since McClelland came back in after injury we have played 11 matches before today with him in the team, conceded only 7 goals and the opposition have never scored more than 1 in any match. When he wasn't in the squad I just assumed he must have been injured.

If we thought Harrogate was tapping the final nail into the play-off coffin that just hit it with a sledgehammer. Poor in the final third, poor in the set pieces and poor defensively. Crewe really were no great shakes with a very dodgy 'keeper but he wasn't tested once. They didn't beat us, we gave it to them on a plate.

Everything was poor. Both teams and the referee! We pretty much dominated possession in the second half and created nothing other than Canavan's effort while, until the third goal, they had only one long range shot other than their 2 penalties!

What a horrible game of football. Everything I was thinking has already been said - poor ref, Barrow shooting themselves in the foot with their team selection, toothless up front etc etc. However, due to being there didn't realise Crewe's commentators accused Barrow of dark arts. The amount of time one of their players went down with a head injury was ridiculous. Trouble for refs is they have to stop the game but feigning that type of injury is a growing concern and Crewe have perfected it. There was one incident when one of their players went down after a Barrow attack - we still had the ball when play was stopped. But when play resumed the ref gave the ball to their keeper to kick it back into play so he just kicked it upfield. Can confirm some idiot had a go at the manager at end of game don't care who it was that is totally out of order but, of course, the fans know best don't they?

Took my two grandkids to the game I think they had an eye opening experience of some of the antics of our very frustrated support today. My youngest certainly heard a few words she has never heard of before - think she watched the crowd more that the game. My eldest has heard it all before but it is his first Barrow defeat and he reckoned the ref was a cheat - that's my boy. He also had a hot dog which he said was good but he said the hot dogs at Barrow are still the best in the world. I have taught him well.

How many barrow fans were there to witness that shower of shite? Haven’t seen a figure mentioned.

Think they said 580.

Good turnout. Awful game. Embarrassing Alex toddlers trying to get a rise from Barriw kids on way to Station.
Can't believe they scored 3, they were poor. Shows how bad we were and ref worst I've witnessed in a long long time.

Lost ground today trying to reach 7th place, but the team above us Salford, also lost too. Can't ever remember when so many mid-table teams 8-15, all lost on same day, meaning none of them gained ground on Barrow.

Three points were there for the taking today, Crewe were if anything even worse than when they played at Holker St. We still looked the better team even after gifting them two penalties , but you can't afford to do that at any level.

I don't think it made any difference that McLelland was missing. We were rarely in any trouble defensively. Our main problem was lack of decent balls into their penalty area. If that had been better we could have overcome the 2-0 deficit. The third goal was simply down to us having to push forward. Their guy took it well, probably the only moment of class in the game.

It felt at times as if the ref was playing for them
