Correct. It will also act as an air vent as it will be stifling in there.
And like a waterfall when it throws it down

Apologies in advance as I'm sure this has provably been covered but I'm not going back through 24 pages to find out...
Is the plan to give this new seating area as the standard allocation for away fans now and then allow additional section in the Holker St end as required or is it that the away section on Holker St end remains and this is additional away capacity when required??

Away fans. I've been told this is for the fans with big away followings like Bradford, Wrexham, Stockport etc & probably Morecambe & maybe Accrington.

Away fans with small followings are getting the newly built side stand this would allow Barrow supporters the entire HSE up to the seated section.

For the big away followings they would be given the entire allocation which means Barrow supporters would get the original HSE section (prior to the closure following the Carlisle Pizza trophy game)

Aren't there two newly built side stands?

Yes but he's just on about the away area.

New stand, cross bar side = home fans
New stand, Holker Street end side = away fans.
Holker Street end - home fans if small away following
Holker street end - away/home split plus new stand if big away following

Seems pretty sensible.

With 600+ seats, the East Stand will comfortably accommodate all the fans of the vast majority of visiting clubs, not just the 'small followings' referred to in a couple of posts.

People asked where fans would be, irrelevant if the away following is classed as small/average/smallish/not bad/kind of average..... you got the capacity wrong as well. Dont be a pedant.

Working from a distant photo, while I haven't been able to count the seats as carefully as some, the point still stands. It will be big enough for the fans of most visiting teams.
