Whether we like it or not this is the reality of the EFL, it's ruthless, we're not Stockport or Wrexham ( and even they will lose managers/ player's) we're not non _ league anymore!
Player turnarounds are usually 2 but possible maximum 3 years!
If you truly support the club buy a season ticket etc and trust the board, they've done a brilliant job so far, they're learning as well.
Finally STOP living in the past we have to move on and take all this as a learning process until we have a proper stable financial club it'll always be a juggling act.

I doubt they had much choice. The trust will have gone between wild and everyone at the club making his position untenable. Maybe it was between wild and Darrel Clarke for the Barnsley job and he missed out who knows. I don’t believe at this moment in time he has a job lined up but that’s not to say he won’t be in a job by the start of the season

Not saying bring him back but didn't he also to a lesser degree than Rob Kelly save Barrow from relegation back to non league.

He wasn’t backed in January, and fell off a cliff because of it. Board happy making their £££ in league 2 and comfortable staying there. The club making the decisions with no manager influence. Not backing wilds vision will bite them further down the line. They need a yes man and hope they got one soon. Just hope we don’t bounce around managers again, 9/10 players and no manager going into preseason won’t be good, needs sorting ASAP.

Another point Telford, proctor, Acquah, garner all very poor. Acquah 8 goals & Telford 4 goals, over a season that’s shocking.

Not quite, PH had said prior to December that all of the budget had been spent in the summer and to expect a quiet January; that team was good enough for the play offs and we should have got there.

This is Pete looking for excuses for his own failures and likely went into the board meeting with that attitude.

I didn’t say he doesn’t have endless contacts or that he’s doing a bad job Nige. But I think some are building him up to be the next Ralf Rangnick. Only time will tell with Mr Wood, he’s learning his trade too remember.

Spot on some of the team selections / substitutions game plan in the last 8 games showed he either wasn't focused or he'd succumbed to the pressure, something clearly wasn't right !

Could a club wanting Wild but not prepared to buy out his contract put out the rumours with Wild's consent knowing full well the board would have to react, thus getting what they and Wild wanted in the first place. Just a thought. All underhand of course but I'm positive it goes on all through the EFL.
