Garner will have a good season I think. It will suit him us having more of the ball you’d imagine

He has to show this term, l expect Mahoney will help to this end - looks a great signing given his experience.

I think the change in the way we play will suit both Garner and Dom Telford. Two players who technically are very good IMO but struggled to adapt to Pete Wilds style of play.

I hope you’re right about Garner but for me whatever system the manager uses you expect players to put the effort in. Garner never broke sweat.

Well he seemed to break sweat when he went on loan to Morecambe!

Think we also need a centre half, a CM to replace Tom White and an attacking playmaker type mid

So I think potentially 4-5 signings still needed

20 players currently signed up, We need a right back and a midfielder anything on top of that will be youngsters to assist the B team imo

We have 3 centre halves we are only playing with 2 this season by.the sounds of things plus Foley and Mazeed can play there if we are unfortunate with injuries

Re sweat thing; I'm not a Doctor, but maybe Garner has got what Prince Andrew has got so that would be a private medical matter and while I'm in the land of maybe, maybe the 'CM to replace Tom White and an attacking playmaker type mid' could be our very own David Worrall? Good CV and remember all the wailing and gnashing of teeth when he left Port Valve to come to Barrow? Don't know why he didn't fire up here but a new Manager will wipe the slate clean for him.

Saturday was a good run out for the lads. Garner pressed with his work rate and deserved his two goals. Worrall looked sharp and was a good voice on the pitch.
Nice to see the new lads, trialists and those back from injuries too.
The goalkeeper coach worked Farman and Stanway hard and Stanway looks to be a great prospect.
Best of all though was the genuine response all the players gave towards the many young kids. Boots, shirts, shorts were signed, photographs and selfies taken. Every kid went away full of joy and excitement. The future for the Club is guaranteed if they can keep this up.
No more negative vibes please. Let’s support our team in greater numbers and make a noise at HS.

All of that sounds great & long may it continue.....I'm a broken record here but please take a friend with you who doesnt usually attend or the people who ask you how we did etc, Buy them a few pints to sweeten the deal or something, Our crowds have rose by 300 plus each season which is fantastic but just imagine how hostile it would be with 4k plus Home fans cheering us on & the financial side would benefit us enormously going forwards. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Maybe you are correct there, though I dont know if Garner denies ever knowing Virginia Giuffre or, has visited Burger King in Woking, or is a misogynist!
