Ticket price rises
Was there any notification or warning of a rise in matchday ticket prices ? Or have the club just gone ahead with it? £18 terrace tickets last year, now £20. A few pound nevertheless, but a little bit naughty from the club in my opinion.

Re: Ticket price rises
Prices in general have gone up.Try buying a ticket for Crewe at their ground and you will see how our club has kept their price rise to a minimum. You could always buy a season ticket as that would work out cheaper for home matches. When you look at all the improvements to the ground since the present board took over I think the match day ticket price is very reasonable compared to other clubs in our league.

It was £20 on the terraces last season anyway if you paid on the daySteveMcnultyThighs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 10:09 am Was there any notification or warning of a rise in matchday ticket prices ? So booking on the day will now be £22/£23 I’m assuming. Slightly naughty by the club, make sure you get your £6 pie too. In 2/3 years you’ll be paying £30 a ticket for league 2 football.

Re: Ticket price rises
The only thing I’d moan about is the fact the match by match prices weren’t published at the same time as the season ticket prices, meaning you couldn’t accurately assess the value of a season ticket.
We don’t have massively discounted season tickets like some but we have pretty much the cheapest match tickets, a quid off having the cheapest shirts and we don’t get gouged for food and beer like at a lot of grounds.
By and large, as a support, we’re not hard done to by any means.

A bit naughty, what the @@@ planet you on, everything has gone up,an as stated previously,we are still cheaper than most. Just look around you , everything has risen in cost, everything!
Re: Ticket price rises
Club has done well to operate with low prices up to now.
Nobody would want to pay more; most would understand why we would need to, in the expectation of perhaps breaking even this year.

The pies aren't £6 so there's about £2.80 saved. Result.SteveMcnultyThighs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 11:06 am So booking on the day will now be £22/£23 I’m assuming. Slightly naughty by the club, make sure you get your £6 pie too. In 2/3 years you’ll be paying £30 a ticket for league 2 football.

Re: Ticket price rises
So you all agree to a year on year 10% increase then? Soon to be £30 a ticket bluebirds. Then you will all moan. But if there’s a stance now, it won’t happen. You choose.

Our club offers fantastic value compared to most as the man said.

Re: Ticket price rises
The Early bird season tickets for the main stand were great value this season. £340 for 23 league games. Paying for each game this season works out at £506for the season so a saving of £166

Re: Ticket price rises
And don’t forget the club sneakily not announcing ticket prices prior. Prices announced the same week the season starts. Laughable
