As usual when it mattered the team failed to deliver. To think Barrow are safe from relegation would be naive now. Is Whing the right man to manage the club - jury is out for me. Biggest game of the season and too many players just not on it. Forward line skill levels are woeful ‘m afraid

They got the all important goal then did a job on us.
Foley was immense until he ran out of steam Gotts worked tirelessly as did Spence.
We created some very good opportunities first half but couldn’t make them count. Mainly giving Breeze catching practice.

I've never seen a more impotent strike force wearing a Barrow shirt! The words 'Dross', 'Pathetic' and 'Dire' spring to mind. So many opportunities to score! Carlisle took one of their few chances and scored. Therefore, they deserved to win. Great support from their fans. Very poor vocal support from ours.

We deserved at least a point tonight. Lads put a shif in Foley outstanding MOM for me. Dominated first half without being brilliant created but shots off target. Second half we tired they came into it more without worrying Farman. Breeze made some good saves for them second half and took crosses well.
Lost 0-1 but let’s face it we never beat Carlisle anyway KTF

Says it all when we take Acquah off who’s non league standard and replace him with Pressley who hasn’t scored a league goal since 2023.

I like Acquah and think he has a role as an impact sub but he shouldn't be our starting striker. We seem to have come out of the window still lacking a goal scorer.

I think we lacked a backbone in all honesty!
Sorry but a lot of people turned up to see some passion and fight, all we got was a wimper.

Not good enough end of

Which is why I said he was a bad signing.
Would sum the majority of players as spineless.

Hoof ball, loose out on headers, repeat, we had a few shots on target but shot right at the keeper or wide.

Trying to be calm but honest. I'm barrow born and bred but became an exile in 1972 when I left to go to university. I then made my life as an exile and am now 71. I recall the games against Southampton Leicester Notts forest and of course our promotion year in 1967. The year I left home was traumatic as leaving home often is but my team losing its football league place really hurt. The next 48 years were quite frankly bloody awful. Some crap teams and performances and some truly terrible grounds. We came so close to going bust but prevailed. Then the renaissance including Wembley again and promotion with shez and bayles which set us on our journey back to the EFL. It's been a struggle because as a club we are playing catch up from 48 years exile. All we want is our players to do the best they can and then win lose or draw we expect no more. Have we had that in the last 2 years I think not. Football is a fairly simple game but modern managers overthink everything. [SwearFilter] to back 3 and wing backs! A back 4 of 2 proper centre half's and full backs is pretty basic stuff. Whatever happens this season it is entirely possible we could get relegated into non league oblivion this season. The current players I believe are pretty well paid for this league but are they really busting agut for the club. I truly hope we survive this year but sick to death of the same every week giving away soft goals and powder puff forwards. Jonah and nutters were proper defenders not like the duds we have now. What will it take for the bod and manager to get rid of most of these donkeyscand get some proper grafters in. Rant over
