Why wasn't the floodlights work scheduled earlier in close season, wouldn't have been a problem with evening kick offs then ??
They'll be ready for the start of night games. Tuesday's game was always at 7pm

It’d all about the “ lux” value of the lighting. I’m not sure what the current value is but the club were told they would need planning permission if they wanted to increase the lux value of the initial installation in future years. Perhaps these LED lights have the same lux value of the ones replaced
If they did , they wouldn't be any brighter, the lux is the measurement for how bright they'll be .
Had a look at these today looks like there has been additional lights fitted to the pylons.

The old ones just had one lamp per fitting which were passed their sell by date - these are banks of LED's that can be adjusted better to illuminate the whole of the pitch.

They should be almost twice as bright as the old ones were at the end (yippee cried the club photographer!!). They will need to be set up once all the new wiring is complete to ensure blanket coverage - all this was explained in the Barrow Social with Frazier Stewart a few weeks back.
