Proper banana skin this one, the way we set up won’t bother them at all. Looking at their website they look like they’ve significantly upgraded the pitch which is a bonus as there used to be a massive slope on it.

Can’t find anything on official figures but I would imagine they will segregate for this one anything from 600- 750 tickets would be my guess.

WHAT'S IT LIKE FOR AWAY FANS.

For most matches away fans are not segregated at Brewery Field. On the rare occasion that they are then visiting supporters are housed in the Tees Crescent area. There is capacity for around 600 fans in this area. It is open to the elements so bring a coat and an umbrella if rain is forecasted.

The entrance to this terrace is not via the main club entrance but at the end of Tees Crescent. Refreshments, when segregation is in place, are provided by the obligatory burger van. If segregation is not in force then away fans can enjoy the club catering around the stadium.

Most visiting fans enjoy their visit to Spennymoor and quite like the Brewery Field ground. The Spennymoor Town fans try hard to get behind their team which helps to create a good atmosphere.

This one for me as well, 3-1 down, 10 mins to go . Lost my car keys on the Pop side in the following euphoria, had to get back in the ground before the stewards locked up !

Don't forget Graham Anthony scored 2 classy goals in that game as well .

I was told the allocation will be 600 Mark with the possibility of going to 1100. Can’t see that being needed though

I just had a look at our FA Cup record since returning to EFL. We have had 3 home draws in round 1 and have lost them all (Wimbledon, Mansfield and Doncaster) We had three away draws in 2022-2023, when we lost to Barnsley in the third round, and two away draws in 2023 when we lost to Maidstone in the second round (after drawing away at Ipswich and beating them in the replay).

Looking at that record, perhaps an away tie is not a bad draw.
