The last penalty decision epitomised the refereeing performance tonight but jeez we are naive at times in our defending.

Can’t comment on the third goal as I walked out at 0-2.

I can’t gloss over anything tonight we are very poor and certainly favourites to be in the bottom two.

We need changed and I’m afraid it starts with the manager. He’s been here on a Whing and a prayer. That doesn’t cut it in our league.

If Whing still has his position in the morning I’ll be [SwearFilter] off and certain we are being guided back to non league football.

Change now whilst we still can and give the new manager the January window. Can only hope from there.

Totally right Mark, we should have realised earlier the referee was giving free kicks for nothing but we didn't learn !

The poor ref aside.

This was a chance to pick up from an encouraging second half against Wigan and we’ve not done that.

We have strikers who can’t score goals, we can’t defend, we are racking up cards and suspensions. It’s a recipe for only going one way.

The performances are maybe 20 minutes spells in games but that’s not enough to win games.

Very poor ref but we are a poor team under this Manager.
We can make as many excuses as we want but 9 points out of a possible 33 at home tells the story.
The gate of 1900 Barrow supporters shows how people are voting with there feet.
Newport getting thumped on Saturday showed how poor our draw was.
Probably we will hear we cannot afford to get rid but we cannot afford to keep him.

The entire night , the referee has been awful, any slight touch has gone against us, imo we started well with the wind, but such awful, constant whistle blowing is bound to have an effect on the confidence of the players. Why do you think Whing called a senior fa rep in recently about decisions? Same thing happened with Wild. Not saying it’s a conspiracy or anything, but if you were at the game you would have seen it clear as day.

No glossing over the fact we are just not good enough or consistent enough in our all round play and sadly haven’t been all season.

Tonight was going to go one of two ways, carry on where we left off against Wigan and put in a good performance and use that as encouragement and motivation, OR go the other way. It seems the latter has happened and I’m not totally surprised.

Something is just not right with the set up and it comes from the top. We can’t keep being victims of our own hard luck stories, we don’t do enough to win games. We don’t pose enough of a threat which makes us vulnerable at the other end and liable to make silly decisions. Referee sounds stinking but it’s not referees who have put us where we are, two wins in twelve and dropping like a stone, plus absolutely horrendous to watch.

Let’s not kid ourselves the weather is to blame either or TV but the substandard football and results.
