What am I missing? Is this Cole Stockton? Born in Huyton, played over 150 games for Morecambe and 17 for Barrow. Home is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.
I see ASDA have now put signs up warning shoppers to be careful of the slip hazard as they enter the store due to all the bullshit.

Not sure about the third paragraph mind , but some speculation from Alan Nixon

I thought when he was with us last time that Stockton was getting past his sell by date. I note that, according to online stats, he has scored one goal in 15 appearances for Salford this season.

Scored 3 in the cup also. 15 goals last season you can’t turn your nose up at signing Cole Stockton.

To me, he didn’t look very interested or committed when he was here last time.

Same as Cook, a lot of clubs would be in for Stockton if available
Whether he signs for us or not that’s the usual lazy standard of “journalism” from Nixon, Barrow chasing promotion indeed

He was no different when he played against us for Salford the other week. Was no surprise when he was subbed after 70 minutes.

Agree.
Steer well clear of him, people put more effort in running for a pint at half time.

Unanimous.
We don’t need another de-motivated striker.

As a committed fist waver against ‘elf n safety gone mad I’m surprised you put any store in sell by dates Jim

7 goals in 17 works out at just shy of the hallowed 20 over the course of the season. There were a few reasons why that season fell off a cliff but Stockton wasn’t one of them. Whether he’s the right man now, that’s a different question.

Fleetwood just sold a striker to Salford so Stockton might be available but then there are several teams if not all in our league after a Stockton or Andy Cook. Not too sure where Cook is going but Grimsby mentioned lately but aren't his wages the same as its a loan ?
