To be honest we need ( I know) a right back, a big mean central defender, a tough midfielder and another forward or we're doomed!

The late goal was a sickner and we dominated enough to at least deserve a point. Rose looked to be fouled by the goal scorer when he lost the ball but we appeared to switch off and let him set himself up for the strike on goal. Fair play it was a good strike
Apparently the ref chalked our goal for offside but the liner never flagged. Ref said Rose was interfering but Gallagher said on Radio Cumbria that having watched it back he wasn’t interfering at all and called it a poor decision.
I thought the two young centre halves did very well looking comfortable on the ball and neither wasn’t frightened to carry the ball forward and can pick a pass.
McCann far more effective further forward.
Rose was a nuisance for an hour and won nearly all his headers. For a man small in stature he sure knows how to win a header.
He lacks and we lack another striker to partner Rose imo and with Gallagher saying he is confident of another three coming in let’s hope ones a right back and the other a striker to partner Rose

If he’s playing the same system as Whing, how can he expect to get different results to Whing? How does he expect it to suddenly click. We haven’t got the players.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

So u think we should have kept him
Nope; his time was up. But it’s madness that we are still playing the same system which doesn’t get the best out of the better players we have got; still conceding soft goals (yes great finish but he shouldn’t have got that far today, some horror shows again last week) still toothless in attack

The importance of getting these last few pieces of the puzzles in before the end of the window cannot be any higher, they simply have to be season defining signings. In a slightly more positive note after the post game frustration starts to fade in to the night I thought the cross bar display was well worth nipping in to look at. Well done to those who organised it it was nice to see items we wouldn't normally get to see. We've got some excellent people in and around the club and hopefully we can have a positive 125th year and not one that sees us slip out of the league

Correct, but as Craig Rutherford rightfully pointed out after the game when Whing was sacked the board said the squad was good enough or however they worded it, now they want 3 more players on top of what’s already been brought in…..

The 3 4 2 1 approach needs scraping it doesn’t work we need 2 at the top we missed Gordon today the way he gets into pockets is just what we needed to help rose out today

Paul Gallagher said in his bbc interview there looking to sign another attacking player now here’s one for the rumour mill Stockton wasn’t on the bench at Salford today
Let there be BARROVIAN BEDLAM :scarf: :scarf:

That was a rough watch, sheesh…

Get rid of 3 at the back, they pass the ball across the pitch in a semi-circle but it never leads anywhere and invites pressure, infuriating how many teams have worked it out by half time. Oddly for a team with wing backs we had no width whatsoever, I thought Fletcher and Rose put themselves about a bit but there was zero service.

Honestly pick anyone at RB for Tuesday, at least we’d create more with some actual wingers and overlaps.

Really liked their tactics of leaving players up for corners we never do that if we play Whitfield at wingback again I won't believe it they targeted him second half.

Having just watched the highlights, it confirmed my thought at the time that it was the ref and not the assistant who gave the off side. Ref was actively encouraging the liner to raise his flag. Rose was level at worst. Think we would have gone on to win the game comfortably had that goal stood.

Impressed by the Andersons.

Either sign actual wing backs or use the wingers at the club.

2300 100 Crawley

I thought it was an awful game saw nothing to make me think it was a good idea to go.
The best thing today was a Bovril at half time

How many corners did we have and a free kick from the edge of the penalty area that created zero chances?

We set up a few times with 2 players on the edge of the penalty box only for Stanway to kick it long

All our best players out of position

Can anyone suggest who our best starting 11 are?

Mediocrity all over

Can I as a season ticket holder for many years be bothered to go on Tuesday?
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:
