The way the club has been ran this season and the we've performed on the field we deserve everything we get! Everyone could see after the first few games of the season the direction we were going and nothing has been addressed alongside some ridiculous decisions made, we’ve nobody to blame other than ourselves!

Yeah, thats all she wrote

Hopefully finish bottom now so my bet comes in and pays for next years season ticket.

I know we have to honour contracts but hopefully we can move most of this lot on

I like Foley and lets face it we've looked more like to get points since he came in but between him, assistants and a consultant? I just dont get the team changes every week (albeit if injuries etc) but the subs didn't make sense. Let it too late to change things and had no bite in midfield so where the hell was smith ?
Win all 3 home games and we stay up (thats obviously my theory) I'd take 4 points from these 2 home games then no chance at Cambridge we'll get a kicking! Then its a fight vs Newport on last day.
Think the GK makes some amazing saves but is young (definitely needed an old head either on the bench or as No1) to learn from but has made too many mistakes which you could say has cost us what 10 points ?

We've had our adventure now. [SwearFilter] poor recruitment and bloody mindedness from certain people has cut that adventure shorter than it needed to be, but we can now go back to being a non-league team...hopefully with very few of the current batch of players and with NONE of the people who have been involved in recruitment this season.

Should just open the gates for the next two home games and fill the ground.

Down today. Get a decent manager in mind, get the players sorted for next year and have a right go at coming back up.

The biggest mistake was believing in January that the side was good enough on the back of a couple of results when Kelly was here. We brought in the wrong players in January because we had a bit of a points cushion “You don't need to do much”. Early warning button was then pressed, Whing gone, Gallagher gone, Maamria gone, then panic button and Foley thrust into it. Credentials- “he knows the lads” Sorry, he was given an impossible task. Don’t let “National League is probably our level” be a soft landing for what has been a terrible season. We recruited poorly in two windows, Needs a footballing equivalent of a Houdini escape to avoid the drop now.

I wouldn't have thought so, Easier to stay up than to get back out of that league.

Of course it is Jonty but next season our fortunes could well be the opposite of this season!

The board and that idiot wood have made a meal of this..

Would Hornby place me in charge of his accounts company, no,
Then why put that wood in charge of a football club

The pathetic, hapless performances at the turn of the year against the teams around us - Crawley, Shrewsbury, Harrogate (Harrogate, ffs!) and Bristol - were the results that have really done for us. Whatever was going on behind the scenes, that's when this lot really let us down.
Don't let the old man in.

If we did by some strange set of circumstances stay up it would seem like a promotion. We deserve to go down we’ve been garbage all season, it’s got to the stage where even when we were winning this afternoon I wasn’t enjoying the match because I knew we’d throw it away. The biggest mystery this season to me is how are we not relegated yet ? If this was most other seasons we’d be long gone by now. I’ve actually started looking at the National League North and South tables over the last few weeks to see who are in with a chance of getting promoted and who we will likely be playing next season. There is now nothing to lose we’re as good as down so come on lads please, please, please give it your all on Tuesday and Saturday.
