The Cambridge United Rumour Mill suggests that the U's are in for Wyll with a fee of £90,000 being touted as possible.

It's funny how the Barrow fans seem to hate him but he can get a 90 thousand pounds transfer bid. Obviously others clubs know a good Goalkeeper when they see one

The concussion injury changed his season. Up until then he was having a good season.

He threw away game after game. That sort of thing sticks in the mind. I hope he is gone quickly.

Wyll is still a fairly young goalkeeper and they’re prone to mistakes, it took Dixon a couple of years to establish himself and cut out the mistakes. He seemed to lose it in the second half of the season and made far too many mistakes - think Salford, Fleetwood, Grimsby to name but three. A decent manager would’ve taken him out of the spotlight a little and given Winterbottom a go for me.
It didn’t happen and a move would probably be best for both sides now but I’m sure he’ll go on to have a decent career if he can cut out the mistakes and mature a bit.

I agree. It was a pity Winterbottom got injured when he did and that thrust Wyll back into the spotlight very quickly after being taken out through lack of form after his concussion injury. That and changing the Goalkeeper coach a bizarre decision contributed to his poor end of season IMO.

Having a totally inept defence in front of him didn't help. Playing well surrounded by a crap team is difficult for anyone
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

Please done bring common sense into.
The defence in front of him had a lot more games than he has.
Sorry to mention how Harper let people Walsh past him rather than to tackle or foul them.
Stanway is a young lad and will learn.
Seems if you are a local it’s a negative.

How old do you need to be to not be prone to mistakes?

Yep. Bottom of the league and we were pinging it back to the goalkeeper like we had Manuel Neuer playing for us. No wonder he fluffed a few.

Local or not, he gave away more points than he saved.

Getting [SwearFilter], scrapping and slamming women to the floor in the town he helped relegate.

Naive? Arrogant? Not great is it?!

Keepers at this level are ten a penny and we’d do well be get a worse one.

Take the money

Exactly, Last line of defence and some of the goals he couldn’t do much about, yet he got some very harsh criticism when the defence in front of him were not doing enough. He has his weaknesses yet anything but a flawless game from him seemed to get picked out? I hope he stays and becomes part of strong team under Murray.
