A ridiculous notion, I’d be straight out the door if I felt I couldn’t be trusted.

The Club need "Someone" to pop down to training once or twice ( unannounced ) Monthly to observe & take stock of everything IMHO Just to be aware of any issues etc
It's a good idea. Maybe we could refer to such role as Head of Football Operations or similar.
Exactly, Weve all seen the podcasts on Footballers & the crazy things these young lads get up to & we hear rumors of things happening at many clubs, Ours included.
We are unique club training away from the area, Surely you want it to run as smoothly as possible, Don't we?

You realise we've already got this person in position right? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I was under the assumption that day to day stuff, I.e ensuring all training equipment is up to scratch and the coaching staff have the tools they need would fall under the role of Head of Football Operations, Joe Harvey. Otherwise what it is his role?
Popular side since '03.

From what someone said in a previous post, perhaps his role is looking scruffy on the touchline.

IMHO if whoever had this role last season, We'd still be a FL club today.

Football Operations Manager/Director of Football. This was the setup that got us relegated.

Let the manager manage and not spunk money on people will overinflated titles that micromanage and undermine the coaching staff.

FYI I’m self employed. Got sick of being told what to do by knobheads that have no idea what they are talking about.

Many moons ago I had a neighbour who used to have plenty of cars pull up at her door all times of the night. I asked her boyfriend one evening why all the cars, he used to say he liked to pimp his ride.
I presumed he was self employed and his lady. 🤔Never ever saw him working on a car though.
