Re: Our goalkeeper
Me personally I don't think he is good enough .very weak small in stature and very slow reaction time.has conceded 6 goals in 3 games not all his fault but 2 I can recall are howlers.hartlepool 2nd goal and Harrogate first goal..basic errors weak as [SwearFilter].

Re: Our goalkeeper
Kin hell... Do you want an elephant gun so you can have a pop at the whole team??
It's three games in, the whole team are settling down and here we are AGAIN another thread attacking our own team and being negative and ruthless..
FFS.. if half on here out as much energy into being positive and getting behind the team as they do butch and moan, HS would be bloody bouncing.
Cmon man.. seriously

Let’s be realistic if he was perfect he wouldn’t be at our level. Every keeper and player has flaws at this level that’s why they’re here.
I think he’s a good shot stopper, pulled off a really good save yesterday at 0-0 to push a shot away. The opening goal yes he should do better he knows by his reaction, beaten at his near post, but equally criminal defending to let someone run unchallenged half of the pitch.
Just as with Stanway last season any slight error and people seem to jump on him, that happens with keepers. Farman made a few howlers too before becoming probably our best ever keeper in my time of watching.
There are a lot of areas we need to improve in still but I don’t think keeper is one of them. Young Barrett I’m sure will get an opportunity too at some point.

Yes he`s good enough for the National League and so is Barrett, and Stanway is good enough for league 2.

Re: Our goalkeeper
Just watch the EFL highlights show on ITV and see how many errors are made, many much worse than Winterbottom. The problem he had yesterday was that the full back who scored also had the option to square it, so Winterbottom had to think about that too.
By the way, on the EFL highlights Stanway had no chance with either of Swindon’s goals against Cheltenham.
