Re: Barkhuizen
Yep, he’s a good striker - withdrew his labour all last season.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Re: Barkhuizen
I thought when a player goes out on loan the other club pays a percentage of his wages. If that's the case we ARE saving some money.
Re: Barkhuizen
They can't be chipping in more than a couple of hundred a week surely, but every little helps!bluessupporter wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:04 amI thought when a player goes out on loan the other club pays a percentage of his wages. If that's the case we ARE saving some money.

And if the rumours are true it gets rid of one of the players producing negative vibes.WalneyOne wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:08 amThey can't be chipping in more than a couple of hundred a week surely, but every little helps!bluessupporter wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:04 am

Let's hope he enjoys another club.
Re: Barkhuizen
Or maybe he was just telling the truth, that last season as a club we were a car crash and no one wanted to listen.bluessupporter wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:41 amAnd if the rumours are true it gets rid of one of the players producing negative vibes.

Re: Barkhuizen
I have been told HE HASN'T refused to train he was excluded this has come from two people I really trust and the person who wanted him excluded wasn't Murray as the saying goes you do the maths!
Re: Barkhuizen
I was shot down for posting after the Workington game that the decision Barkhuizen was surplus was not Murrays as he hadn't even seen him train. This seems to confirm my thoughts at that time, namely it was made from within the clubs hierarchy.

Re: Barkhuizen
I’m led to believe he spoke disparagingly about the club last season and this got back to the directors who were very unhappy about it hence he was frozen out towards the end of last season and this season too.

Spoke disparagingly as in saying it was a car crash?Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 12:21 pmI’m led to believe he spoke disparagingly about the club last season and this got back to the directors who were very unhappy about it hence he was frozen out towards the end of last season and this season too.
