Next two games 'must' yield six points.

Yeah itsad Mall but Murray has made a rod for his own back!, constantly saying high press etc, then he talks about mentality and the players will come good, no matter how good you are as a defender if we keep playing so high up ,you're going to be exposed,it's at best reckless, with about 20 minutes left I honestly didn't know what formation we were playing!
You'd admire him more if he said yeah on me that one I got it wrong but the interview is shocking, he keeps picking Amos who's just too slow to play in such a high line, Walker just too weak and his delivery is awful!
Ward where was he ? needs to work much harder!, as people have said Whitfield now a twenty minute player!
How many wingers do we now have it's ridiculous all these signings how can you have any kind of stability?
Plus this must have people asking about our recruitment policies yet again!
We simply have to win Tuesday but Murray has to look at himself as well!

If we hadn’t made a lot of signings we would have been left with the dross that got us relegated last season and who were abysmal at best, yet are for some reason lauded as great players on this forum when they leave Barrow. Murray had a poor start last season, made a lot of signings and got promotion. Hopefully history may repeat itself. It’s not even the middle of September and already some want him out.

So just make signings??
Don't they have to have quality?
I questioned this because the original team we needed this season has to have quality to get out of this league, what then is your assessment of them ?
It might have escaped you but we're on a greatly reduced budget signing all these players is simply glossing over the fact that some of the original signings aren't good enough or do you think differently?

Some of you lot on here are insane, giving up after 7 matches is wild (not the Pete you’re desperate for, while you’re at get Cowps back up front eh?).

Some positives:

- Mikey Lane looks a real player, two superb goals.
- 2-2 away at Worthing isn’t actually a bad result.
- We haven’t actually played a bad match this season, just bad results.

I’m prepared to give the manager and new signings time. As I sad Murray had a poor start last season and got promotion.
Some f the histrionics on here in mid-September are laughable.

It’s the Barrow way we are either world beaters and all our players and manager are about to leave or it’s doom and gloom the club is going bust the roof had blown off and we are going to get double relegated

It’s only a game - none of will ever know what happens in the end anyway

Murrays post match assessment is along the lines of push on and put the game to bed second half. Questioning the mindset etc.
We didn’t need to defend so high up leaving massive gaps. We didn’t need a third goal, we needed to kill the game and just manage it out professionally- Job done. We left ourselves exposed as if we were chasing the game with a minute to go. Gave them the impetus.

Histrionics, so criticism is not allowed in your eyes just accept a dire second half performance and not criticise the managers tactics or the level of performance of some of the players that in my eyes is constructive criticism not Histrionics you need to look at how you disseminate what people are saying before saying it's laughable!

I think winning 3-0 last week perhaps papered over a few cracks. It wasn’t a 3-0 game to me, we took our chances and they didn’t. Today at 3-0 it would’ve been over but we didn’t and at 2-0 it’s a funny scoreline, the next goal changes the game. Unfortunately we gave them it and then after the momentum was always with them and a second was inevitable. Perhaps the only plus is we didn’t lose it but as at Kidderminster I thought we were a little fortunate in the end to take a point, having at one point been in control without being brilliant. Two poor goals to concede I get that individuals didn’t do their jobs in tracking runners as Murray said but these are his players
and we were far too high and left ourselves vulnerable. Fullbacks again looked suspect and Digie vulnerable to anyone running beyond him. No coincidence he comes back in and we ship two goals we were a lot more solid against Sutton without him.

Give over. A lot is out of proportion and laughable. If claiming a 2-2 draw is a defeat isn’t over the top, then I do not know what is.

He set them up to play like that , they got ripped open doing what they were told.

Bring back Ady Pennock
Defeat? I thought it was a draw

It seems like the team and one or two on here, that we are putting so much effort into the offensive at the minute that we are lacking somewhat in the all important defensive part too.
Even after conceding those two second half goals and a good save by our keeper to keep it level that we created more than enough chances to win that game over the ninety plus minutes.
The balance will be found just got to be patient and trust the management team, it’s still early days.

We were at the game yesterday and it has to be said that the pitch and the breeze played a huge part. The ball was not bouncing consistently and there was a huge advantage on that surface playing with the wind as we did in the first half.
It was therefore madness playing such a high line in the 2nd half with a 2 goal lead and simple long balls we’re causing us all sorts of problems and on the turnover they were getting in behind us at will. There were warnings right at the start of the 2nd half with one glaring miss and you could just see it coming. So for me that one was definitely on the manager.

Two great goals yesterday from Mikey Lane and the conversation should be about his great debut and three points. We need to work on the defensive side of our game, because we got a way with a few yesterday, far too cavalier.
