Barrow AFC are delighted to announce the arrival of winger, Seb Thompson.

The 23-year-old spent his youth career developing his craft in the Aston Villa, Liverpool, Derby County and Burnley Academy set-ups.

Since then, his career has seen him gain valuable experience of men's football having spent time at Macclesfield, Rushall, Leamington and Kidderminster.

Last season, Thompson registered an impressive 16 goal contributions across his spells at Kidderminster and Leamington. He scored the goal which sealed Harriers' place in the play-off final, before they went on to secure promotion to the National League from the North division under the management of Adam Murray.

Now the versatile forward links up with Murray again at Barrow AFC, with Thompson wearing the 14 shirt.

We can confirm that he has been registered in time to be eligible for this afternoon's clash against Worthing FC.

Not sure it’s that exciting. Going off his career history he is no where near national league level

It's ultimately down to each individual we sign if you're determined, going to work hard that's half the battle, the Manager etc then then help develop them !

It's noticeable how low key we treat our signings this season. No big social media teasers, just 'We've signed this player'.
Don't let the old man in.
