Away Pub for Halifax

Post by Shayman63 » Sun Oct 25, 2026 2:10 pm

Just a few pointers for the match on Tuesday.

It is cash ONLY at the turnstiles, however both cash and card are accepted inside the ground for food and drink.

There is an ATM 40 yards from the away turnstiles at the Esso station on the main road.

The nearest pub to the away turnstiles is The Three Pigeons which is a 3 minutes walk away. It's a family friendly pub selling hand pulled ales and lagers with a good selection of pies and pasties from a local butchers.Go to the bottom of the road and turn left the pub is 100 yards on the right.

Feel free to ask any questions. Safe travels.

I’m coming with a few mates presuming there are no problems anticipated with the pitch. Looking at the forecast Halifax looks to be on the wet side Monday but dry for most of Tuesday..

We had a new pitch and drainage system installed 18 months ago and have had none of the previous issues encountered. Been very, very windy today but little or no rain.

light rain this morning but been dry all dsy since then. A few overnight showers forecast but showing dry all dsy tomorrow. For those travelling by car there is a car park directly opposite the Three Pigeons which is £2 for 12 hours. Post code HX1 1RB. The official coach will be parked directly outside the away turnstiles.
