Bristol Rovers vs Barrow - Match thread

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

That commentator could hardly contain his excitement at the Barrow goals.

Looked like a pen and a great save by Erlandsson right at the end there.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Does look like a penalty, but I suppose it has to be a yellow either way.

Don't care, it's local to me. I thought that would be obvious

Not a pen. Correct decision by the ref.

Weakest team at home in the next round. Need to lose our record of team who has appeared most times in third round without ever appearing in the fourth.

One of the really big teams away in the fourth round.

Cox to play strongest side in Trophy on Saturday to maintain momentum.

Manchester United home or away please. About time we got a big team at Holker Street, get it on the Friday night and give them a Barrovian welcome

Fantastic result / fantastic day

First time in 50 years we have beaten a football league side in the fa cup away from home

Enjoy it because these things dont happen often

As for players going that's down to the chairman but Cox has found some great players and I'm sure we will find more - let others speculate tho -

Big premiership club away for me - city / united / Liverpool / Everton

MOTD FA Cup Highlights on a loop on BBC 'red button' (Freeview channel 301) until 6am. Just waiting for Barrow to come round again, I guess we must be near the top, if not the top of the show.

I wonder how big a club could be accommodated in a home tie at Holker without safety concerns forcing it to be moved to, say, Deepdale or the away team's home?

Thoughts?

Just had a read of the Bristol Rovers forum. The Gasheads are not happy bunnies. Not happy at all.
