Was reading about him last week, sounds like he means business submitting all kinds of plans to the local council. Fair play to him he's only had the club for around a year.

Their corporate sounds class..5 course meal at their VIP restaurant with club chef, followed by watching the game at a balcony seat.

Have their gates increased since he took over?
Sounds like a good day out.

showing some positive steps like Fylde and Salford. Credit where credit is due, all the best to them

Full video coverage of the event is now available on the clubs Youtube channel.

It turned into a bit of a nightmare to get it on there and took Matthew Dodd all day to sort it, so a big thanks to him! :scarf:

Billericay Town do not have a positive reputation within non-league circles, they have been signing up washed up old professionals like Paul Konchesky and Jamie O'Hara reportedly on big wages, they are not a club we should aspire to be like at all and nor is what they are doing similar to AFC Fylde

Fylde are brilliant, so well run. Hard to find any fault with them. All the best to them in the future.

Glad to see that you have furnished AFC Fylde with all your knowledge
Wonder if you bombard their sites with constructive ctiticism?

There would be no need for constructive criticism. Unlike Barrow , Fylde have a plan and don't have to worry about financing a new stadium because theyve already done it. Theyve employed the right people in the right places and havnt just filled gaps with friends and family.

I think Barrow could have a bright future if they modeled themselves on a much more successful and all in all bigger club like Fylde.

You know someone doesn't understand non-league football when they bring up Billericay is an example of a well-run club. They're spunking more on wages than we are each week (£25k at the last count) despite being two steps lower, and the chairman/manager is an egomaniac looking to impress his celebrity mates and cancels friendlies due to criticism on Twitter. It's been done many times in the south with the likes of Hornchurch, Margate and Whitehawk, and never ends well.

As for always bringing up Fylde, that joke got old about a year ago. Nobody is riled by the comparison, it's just tedious. The reason they are where they are is that someone has thrown unbelievable money at it. Comparing ourselves to any club is stupid anyway, as it's all relative. It's the kind of pathetic, meaningless debate you see on the Facebook pages between 'fans' of Chelsea and Man United, or Messi and Ronaldo - but then, that's the sort of level we're dealing with, I guess.

Bell end a former member of this forum seems to be very quiet and guess what, I'm glad. Hope he is annoying somebody else instead of the guys that are still here on this forum.

Keep on polishing your helmet you tool.

Best respect to all that have the interests of Barrow AFC in their hearts, here's to a great season.

Wow! Sorry for being positive!

Barrow AFC would be a much better place with a bit of Fylde positivity. Don't be afraid of it
