Re: Ogdens Nut Gone Flake
When people quote open, honest, transparency you know that means the total opposite " I'm not racist but....." then they make a racist viewpoint!, springs to mind.

I'd love to be able to give a couple of reasons that might make you change your mind.....unfortunately I don't think I'd be allowed.
I'd have PO back all day long though.

Re: Ogdens Nut Gone Flake
Take it somethings come with the territory when a club has a millionaire owner. Unlike Fylde or Fleetwood who have multi millionaire owners, probably far better advisers in the business, probably far better contacts also. Don’t want to see PC taken for a mug either I still think he has the clubs best interest at heart, we need to back him not fight him but we do need to feel that there will be stability arriving. I think the biggest kick in the nads for me was the physio departure because he was also a decent lad, not taking the players into account obviouslyspirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 8:22 pmReally?

It'd be very hard to say, I might even be breaking confidentiality agreements if I did, but I just find it hard to sit back and read everything that some would want you believe is the truth without trying to put a few hints in there that there is always another side to every storyBluebird_john wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 9:31 pmwell until you say, our minds won't be changed.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 8:22 pm

Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Yes the truth may well be there. I don't know it and neither do others. You are in a privileged position with loyalty to our owner.
What's the point of being where you are?

Read Paul Cassons notes from last week's programme - the clues are there
Join the dots
Manager with fingers in other pies
Players signed from same agency
Owner wanting too much control
Bennett's release Clause leaked to Carlisle maybe with someone to benefit
Leaks from within the club causing instability
If Paul Casson goes the club is really in crisis I would rather more honestly from the owners and just say I'm cutting back we can all get on board then - he's spent 3 million ( again look at the accounts 2.5 million £ shares recently issued in addition to 600k the value of the club to cover the money out in ) already

Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards Ian!!! But I agree, no milage whatsoever in going over old ground. Progressive from all avenues from herein is the way forward, seize the day and all that!!spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 8:22 pmReally?

Charlie you are too clever at times. But sometimes old laundry needs to be binned not aired in public, and we all move on all the wiser we hope.

Yeah, its as if its Paul Cox's fault that they've had resignations popping out like fireworks.Bingo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 12:18 amShame proper investigative journalist don't exist anymore . It would be helpful if the club stopped trying to act as if they are the big boys of non league who can do nothing wrong and start accepting this football club isn't being run like a football club and is light years away from a football league return and a realistic development on the ground.
They've put all their eggs in one basket with Ogden and he has seen right through it and ran a mile. Now they are after another person to fill this role as if this role is the only way forward. Its National League North thinking.
Stop dragging the fans along and start admitting mistakes and start actioning things because the longer it goes on like this then the more fans will see through it and give it up.

To be fair to Pappa Cass (shudder) he has admitted to mistakes, granted not so much recently but lets not also paint him as a picture of (Pedro's favourite) Kim Jong Un.
