Moore OUT
Re: Moore OUT
Well said. Yes we are in a poor place now.
We require a blood and guts manager.
The team will respond to a few arse kickings.
Come on Paul get the right MAN in

Re: Moore OUT
Results havent been good enough. That is fact. I dont solely blame mm - i also blame the cassons for not giving him the tools to do his job effectively. There has to be a collective responsibility for the way things are going - players included.
Injuries since MM took over:
Diarra
Audel
Neiskens
Jones
Hughes
Fitzpatrick
Yussuf
Parry
MM has only been able to replace injured / unavailable players with loan and non contract players - seriously i bet not one club in our league has non contract footballers!
Very much a kendal/lancaster level thing. Its embarassing.
Dunne is now suspended - whos likely playing cb at weekend? - bignot - another non contract player.
Micky is being asked to play a brand of football which the players are not geared up for, pretty much 4 weeks doing everything by himself.
Is he better than cox? no. But hes also no miracle worker. I guess its like been asked to bake a cake without all the ingredients. Or drive a car 100 miles on fumes.

We can't sign a new player on contract evertime we have an injury.

Re: Moore OUT
Jones has only missed 2 games, fitzpatrick was injured before he took over irrespective of these injuries and because of the nature of this league a decent manager with good contacts could have organised the team better tactically one example is moore brought Clements in who is supposed to be an attacking midfielder and plays him in front of the back four!Thenotorious wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:00 pm Results havent been good enough. As for yusseff he played him first half against Guiseley and he didn't appear for the second half so obviously nursing an injury so what does moore do plays him on the Saturday yusseff pulls up during the match then out for a month,
Diarra kept him on to play up front when he could hardly walk out for 8 weeks yeah is he really unlucky with injuries?

Re: Moore OUT
So what is the answer to having an injury crisis? sign a shed load of new players on contract when the budget has gone with the previous managers signings? Then when the injuries clear up we have a squad of thirty odd players....Thenotorious wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:00 pm MM has only been able to replace injured / unavailable players with loan and non contract players
MM's choice, he could've brought someone in whenever he wanted.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I love it when people put the truth stamp of "Fact" on the end of their statements, to make us less intelligent sorts think its correct. Fact.Thenotorious wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:45 pmThe decision on parry was a casson jnr decision. Fact.boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:05 pm

Now, If we could just get the folk on here who slightly twist the facts to put "Lie" on the end of their sentences it would make it an all more enjoyable experience.

Re: Moore OUT
Any football club where the manager is not the key individual in signing players is primed for failure, the decision on who to sign should ultimately be his. Anyone who says otherwise has not got a clue on football, the manager should have a squad he selected not some bloke in a suit..........possibly why Cox walked/resigned/sacked whatever it was......glasgow_blue wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 8:00 pmAndrew Casson stated Paul Ogden put the squad together. Re: Moore OUT
I totally agree, i don't think Paul Cox was totally innocent in all of this but if players have been bought without his say so, then it does only have 1 ending.mickycarrol wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 8:17 pmAny football club where the manager is not the key individual in signing players is primed for failure, the decision on who to sign should ultimately be his. Said it before and I will say it again.
Askey from Macclesfield is the man.
Top of the league on a shoestring. Just imagine what he could do with our budget?
His right hand man has just left for Gateshead
