Has Barton made any comment on the grabbing by the throat incident? The one in this match I mean, not the one he's accused of.

I watched his post-match interview on the Rovers site and it was very reasonable, on the whole. He comes across as an articulate, sensible chap, if we didn't know about other aspects of his personality. Incidentally, he mentioned hope of 5 more signings and said that it would mean a total of 28 out and 18 in during his tenure.

At least he didn't break out into a Cumbrian accent during his interview...

Barrow really must be a town of thugs. Their fans expect the red to be rescinded after we threw ourselves to the floor diving and their player was only running in to break up a fight.
After our last trip to Barrow, their player got sent to prison for assaulting Rigg on the pitch.
What an awful place it must be to live.
From their forum does this mean they like us ?
They must have forgotten the last time we played there in the Cup game and won. Not too long ago.
Was going to say knocked them out but thought it might look inflamatory.

Just watched the extended highlights and the melee seemed to start with a Barrow player (Brough?) being kicked from behind as a corner was scrambled clear.

Carry on like that, and there will not be many of Coopers Barrow Boys to mess with. Suspensions closely follow bookings, plus our injured list. Down side of managers play it tough quote, wonder if he has put a fine system in place for stupid bookings like dissent.
