Stephenson (and Feely when he plays) are essentially defenders and Worrall is a winger. Only Newby and Tiensia are true wing backs although Worrall has made a decent job of defending.
So you going to be dropping Newby when Tiensia comes back?
Newby has been getting all his joy this season playing on the left - Tiensia is a left sided player. Can’t play both unfortunately
Can if one is a sub. Substitutes a huge part of our success so far this season.

We played with Ogungbo and Newby the other week, which worked well.

But notice how we got the winner against Tranmere with Newby deployed back in his natural more preferred wide left position

correct, he is much more effective on the left, if its not broke don't fix it.

Newby is not even the issue me. That left side has been cracking this year. More concern for me is the right side wing back, hence saying I think we miss Stephenson/Worrall as I dont think Feely looks comfortable in that position.

Newby has been easily one of our best players this season; would make no sense at all to switch flanks to accommodate others. Just unfortunate that Worral and Stephenson got injured at the same time

Most of you seem to forget just how outstanding Tiensia had been for several weeks before his injury both in attack and defence. In fact, IMO he was the most serious attacking threat we had at the time of his injury. I also disagree that Newby is any better as a left wing back than a right wing back. He is one of the few players we have who is comfortable on either foot.

Tiensia was hitting great form just before that injury you’re correct. Think he’ll be first choice if he returns playing like he was

Don't know why the great debate.
Tiensia is at least 5 or 6 weeks away from being considered for a return.
A lot can happen in that time.

Aye being assessed at St George’s Park all week then a pathway to start his rehabilitation back to hopefully full fitness sometime towards the end of February 🙏
