Fact is we deserve a better pitch . Really disappointing as one of the biggest games and gates of the season and the club will miss out. Family here from Scotland to watch it .

We can't afford to do everything. Getting the new stands in place to meet league requirements had to be the priority last summer. It's a shame for your family - and I'd have been hacked off if I'd come down from Scotland for this one - but at least you'll be able to watch the whole of the rugby

Quite bizarre.

No inkling or mention by the Club of the possibility that the pitch might not be fit. Apparently, no inspection was considered necessary yesterday or this morning, yet the Ref. had a totally different opinion on arriving at the ground. How can that be?

The pitch must have dried out a lot yesterday and today, but still not enough for the Ref.

The bad decision to save money on maintaining the pitch has proved to be a false economy. The gate Money for a Tuesday rescheduled game v a Saturday game is probably around £25,-£30K lower, which would have gone a long way to re-laying much, if not all of the pitch.

And will the Club have to pay £1000's for the huge Police presence it requested?

The money HAD to be spent on getting the seating requirements up to EFL regulations. Of course we all know money needed to be spent on the pitch but if the money was t there….it wasn’t there. There’s nothing hard to understand about that.

It’s about time the EFL changed the rules, if both managers and clubs agree to play a game they sign the disclaimer and get on with it. In these situations the pressure is thrown at the referee so it’s totally understandable they are going to be worried.

The club must have lost a small fortune today and you have to feel for the 1000 Bradford supporters.
