Calmed down since last night and if you look at the performances we're better value than a solitary point out of the first four games. It's probably only second half vs Hornchurch where we can say we have been out and out poor. We are in one of those ruts at the moment where every mistake is being punished, others are great goals are being scored against us and we aren't clinical enough at the other end. I don't think there's been any period within a game where we were getting battered and it was only a matter of time. There's signs that the tide can turn, as difficult as it is to stomach given the last 18 to 24 months we still need to have some patience.
Popular side since '03.

I left before the final whistle for the first time in many years last night.
Yes, I wish Cameron was a bit more mobile but he's a big fella and can onbly do what he can do. I thought he had some nice play and touches last night, unfortunately nobody was playing off him with any effectiveness.
Biggest disappointment for me last night was Amos (I can't include Jackson because my expectations from him are under a rock). Constantly out-paced, and so always caught out of position, and resorting to a good number of pulling back situations. I don't know how he stayed on the field.
I haven't been impressed thus far with Crankshaft, and maybe the weight of leadership in a desperate situation is too much for MJ? He hasn't risen to the occasion either.
That second half was made for the presence of Danny Rose. Yeovil were rattled and niggly. Rose would have driven them mad.
I dunno... we MAY manage to hang in there this season but it's going to be very worrying right to the end.

thought Cameron did ok too in his cameo appearance but if he’s our top scorer and we’re reliant on him then we are in trouble. Reid looked good and hopefully can last a bit longer on Monday but he needs someone playing off him. I’d start with Rose off him as he’s probably the best finisher at the club, and we’re crying out for someone to put the ball on the net. He can’t play alone as he won’t fit with our tactics but he could play off Reid I think.

Not sure if he wants to be here though he must be wondering why he can’t get a kick and in the friendly against Mansfield he looked a bit fed up and sort of walked off when the subs were being briefed by Andy Taylor, which I thought was a bit odd at the time.

I don't want to put words in their mouth but I'd say the commentary box (AJ and Matt Henney) thought Amos was contender for MotM.
Don't let the old man in.

Keeping the faith that it will come good. as Murray said if we had been totally schooled I’d be more concerned. Football can give you a right good kick when you’re down there. One thing about Murray he’ll never play for a draw against any team in this league.

Stick with it. 🙌

If we were getting outplayed every week I’d be more concerned. We are not, but scoring goals remains the biggest issue. The only way is up Nigel! So keep smiling!

People stayed optimistic last season and look what happened. “The squad is good enough” “we haven’t been hammered by anyone” etc.

Very concerned we are 4 games in winless and deep in the relegation zone.

Totally agree.

We are not getting battered, we just haven't started scoring YET and as we all know, there is also an element of luck in football too.. and right now, we've not had it

Can definately see a half decent side, just need to start getting the points on the board starting Monday!

Think positive - only 6 points off the playoffs. ;)

I’m not buying this “it will take time to gel” and “it might take 2-3 seasons to work” shite.

Aldershot signed 20 new players this season. A completely new squad and they’ve won two, drawn one and lost one so far this term.

This manager has had a whole summer to build a squad of players he wanted. Another “we are getting there slowly” loss on Monday would be extremely worrying.

I dont want to panic yet only 4 games in we haven't been battered but struggle to score yeh its a new side virtually but so are many sides so no excuse really I still think were suffering a hangover over from relegation and have that losing mentality I dont know what we can do but we didn't deserve to lose last night but we did which is worrying, we need a win from somewhere to boost confidence, no easy games in the national league i think this season we can expect mid table and hopefully not a drawn into a relegation scrap but unsure from what I've seen. Its disappointing dropping from efl only to be near bottom of national league though, i thought we would be on 6/7 points really after the 4 games
