Could be worse, could be 5-1! Grimsby away was never going to be easy, never a nice place to go, and stinks of fish!

National League full-times...

Braintree 1-3 Lincoln City (Braintree down to 10 men)
Cheltenham 0-0 Aldershot
Dover 3-2 Kidderminster
Eastleigh 1-0 Boreham Wood
Forest Green 1-0 Welling
Gateshead 1-4 Tranmere
Grimsby 4-1 Barrow
Guiseley 1-0 Altrincham
Halifax 0-1 Chester
Macclesfield 0-0 Southport (Macc down to 10 men)
Woking 2-0 Bromley
Wrexham 3-1 Torquay

Debut goal for Elliot Newby. Is that his first competative appearance outside of under-21s?

Barrow are 15th

I predicted 3-0 so in terms of goal difference spot on.A Grimsby fan at the Kiddy game on Saturday said it was the most one-sided draw he had ever seen so the chances of us getting anything were slim at best. They were beaten in the play-offs last season and have strengthened far beyond what teams like us have. Monkhouse was a regular scorer at Hartlepool and we all know Bogles capabilities. We'd have got no more if we'd only lost 1-0 to a scrappy goal. I'm not blinkered just a realist. Results like this should highlight the failures and we should act on them lets wait and see.

Now that was embarrassing!

Set up all wrong from the start, looked absolutely light years behind a very good Grimsby side all over the pitch. Important not to over react but if we're to get anywhere near the top half of the table we need to be much, much better than that.

If Radio Cumbria said we played well they were on drugs.

Player and management could at Least acknowledge the fans who sang for 90 and paid good money to watch that.
No fight whatsoever tonight

Absolutely shite. No fight. No passion. Wrong set-up. We need to change things rapidly.

Edmo has to hold his hands up after tonight and admit he got it completely wrong.
Invited everything on ourselves and gave them a 2 goal head start. After that we were never going to come back.
Cant afford to give any team headstarts especially when they have the ability grimsby have

Talking about stinking of fish.
Remember a team in August 2011 coming to Holker Street and being played off the park, losing 4-0, yet going on to amass 103 points and finishing champions.
Fleetwood did it, so can Barrow.

4 - 5 - 1 was a shocking set up, we needed an extra striker on the pitch. Cook was knocking balls down and there was no one to play to.

Mistakes in the defence cost us and we forgot to just play simple out of defence.

115 travelling fans made the trip and sang their hearts out. Players need to appreciate the support and not just storm off, yeah we had a bad night but it's not worth the shit storm currently brewing. Reality check with are two games in.
