I don’t think anyone would want to be associated with a group of people who think bullying kids is the way of policing a football match.

Again coins/bottles being thrown from the away end ignored but children singing songs are grabbed out of crowds by people who aren’t fit to do their jobs

I saw a young Barrow lad being escorted out. If those allegedly throwing coins (from Crawley) weren't thrown out then somebody associated from the club needs to ask the Stewards why weren't they? Somebody could have been hurt. Followed by a lawsuit against the club.

The game itself was dire. Even worse than the Carlisle fixture! Crawley looked poor - six games on the bounce without a win. Yet they took 3 points off us. Where was the fighting spirit demonstrated against Hartlepool to come back to win 3-2? Plus others where we've been behind to win or salvage a point? We had no imagination, no ideas and no attacking presence. Earlier in the season we looked like a team who were organised and difficult to beat. It's now looking like many clubs have sussed out the way to beat us.

Zanzala looked lost. No threat at all to their back four. To be fair, we had no one else who looked capable of causing them problems.

Did anyone else notice Zanzala's body language at the final whistle? He looked forlorn. His head hung low and he found it difficult even shaking hands with our opponents. I don't think it was his lack of sportsmanship. I felt sorry for the lad. Okay; he's not scoring but who's creating the openings for him? Nobody!

The young lad from Leeds - Gott? He looked promising when he first arrived but now looks out of his depth. Reminds me of the fella we had on the wing in our National League days before we shipped him out to Wrexham - runs round in circles - but poses no threat.

We need a striker; yes. But we also need someone who can create openings. Because without the ball - the greatest of strikers won't score.

We could just use all the extra money from Cup/tv and sack the manager and while we are at it pay off 6/7 players is that what fans want, only 4 wins from 17 games is poor but if we go another 17 games and only win 4 we will be in the bottom 2. Really poor playing M.Jones what has White done wrong and agree Zanzala gets no service so its not always down to him, the real reason we are down the bottom half is like last season can`t win at home if that goes on then it will be squeaky bum time.

We need players busting a got out there for the entire game. Less grabbing and more tacking please. The modern football team needs to press from the front, chasing down everything, winning the second ball. In the air we have been hopeless, show some strength at set pieces and get your head on the ball first. At both ends. Win the physical battle and we might start winning a few more games. Rant over/ now go and show us at FGR please.

Too many games with a small squad and a lot of injuries some players getting tired .

Why would we be in the bottom 2? Surely if we continue with the same form for the next 17 games as for the last 17 we will still be in the same position. Dont quite see the logic there.

I just wonder what the playing budget is, and do we have any money available to get players in January? Who would want any of those we don't want on the current displays?

Two good questions.

I thought it was better than Carlisle but not much. Both were poor, though we put in a shift in the Derby game more than we did v Crawley. Watching the highlights we did create 2/3 good chances including a simple miss by Zanzala at the back post from a first half corner. No wonder he looks down. What is clear is that he is not much good as a target man and josh Gordon was a big miss. He can at least hold the ball up. White should have played instead of Mike Jones , the latter being well off and he seemed to upset the balance . Not sure where we go from here but we need to improve quickly otherwise it’s going to be a long season.

Back in the day, when we were short of a striker who knew where the bloody net was, we used Mark Hume as an interim centre-forward (to very good effect as I recall). I reckon Ollie Banks is our best option given the direct way we seem to be playing. Knows how to use his head, big and bustling, and he has a real shot on him.
I think people are being too easy on Zanzala. He is what he is, and he isn't good enough.

Zanzala is an enigma. He looks clumsy, ball control is poor and he misses chances. However, he appears to have scored a reasonable number of goals at Accrington and at Carlisle in the past. Also, if it is true that Carlisle offered him an extension of contract, they must have seen something in him.

He is 25, so reasonably experienced, so I am puzzled about why he looks so often like a novice. How long do we persist, hoping he will eventually come good?

Hopefully the kids will go stand with their parents next game. All going over thinking they are 10 men back in the 80’s pretending to be hooligans after watching green street with their vapes, it’s embarrassing to watch from a barrow fan point. Sooner the club switch on and put a hard barrier further down the holker end the better.

Contract offered was on reduced terms he turned it down.
