Completely agree our attendances are a good bit below what they should be.

That’s a very good idea the Junior Bluebird club, Issue wallet sized photo ID (( So no swapping cards goes on )) membership cards, Include them in various initiatives, Educate them with ongoing acceptable match day behaviour & it’s super easy to do as everyone has iPhones so send out mass texts explaining the situation.

Have some sort of reward scheme where attendance & good behaviour earns points that can be used in the clubs shops & plainly spell out that after a warning ie 3 strikes & your banned ( Again by text as both parties have a copy to no miss understandings) for minor indiscretions & obviously certain bad behaviour means an instant season ban, Again-text-legal copy.

Kids make mistakes as we all do so this total ban is probably illegal & could be challenged in court as it punishes all u-16 this blanket ban & if we are truly a community club then stop punishing innocent well behaved kids.

All my personal opinions

My grandsons used to (now strapping teenagers outgrown it) be members of Wrexham Junior Dragons, For just £5 a year - may be more now-they got a host of rewards . Discount on season tickets,items from the club shop and Summer skills schools run by the club. They were also entered into a draw to be mascot at a home game and recieved Xmas and birthday cards signed by the players. Obviously hard to quantify giving current circumstances but they were hooked then and now attend all home and away games unless otherwise engaged.

Plenty on holiday local cricket season still ongoing and other various events. Our second home game last season v Harrogate we only got 3068 in attendance. I’m sure we will hit 4500 in a fortnights time

Yes, but we can’t live in the past, after the recent crowd trouble issues that are often from the u/16 huddle in the HS End, considering the impact on the club is obviously far more damaging.

Pretty sure Cahill, Gordon and Proctor didn’t have pyrotechnics to dodge on the field!

Absolute garbage, those pyrotechnics, those people were dealt with ! and are isolated incidents as for dodging them come on stop making up things to back your comments!

Start a Membership scheme so unaccompanied kids can get in ,if anyone steps out of line deal with it in a common sense way.
You're talking as though ALL young people are hooligans etc ,which is totally unfair, so your attitude is BAN them all what a fine example of supporting young kids who only want to watch a game of football!
There is not one Stadium in the Football world where fans don't taunt each other the Majority of which is nothing.
Notice your saying nothing about the way Barrow fans have to walk through Away fans who are hurling abuse at everyone walking over the Railway bridge while the Police do nothing!

We will average around 3,300/500 this season which will be on par with Colchester, Forest Green, Accrington, Harrogate, Crawley, Morecambe and Salford, would like to see 3,500/4,000 home fans but unlikely.

Agreed. I used to go to the match on my own as a 9-10 year old and would hang around outside the dressing room after the match to get the autographs of players like Tommy Cahill, Billy Gordon, Dave Proctor, etc.

Agreed and the age of the internet doesn’t help either, when the few HS kids sang about they dead Walsall fan in a box last season (copying Chester fans v Wrexham) disgusting behaviour, people are acting like u16s are banned when they only need to bring a grown up (this topic could have been asked at the qna, by someone or a representative but it wasn’t even mentioned). Anyway back on topic, great game yesterday, amazing how far we’ve come in such a short time. Junior is looking like a really exciting prospect, I know a couple from work coming to the Wrexham game, who are premier league fans, hopefully they’ll get the Barra bug.

I don't think we need clubs or schemes really and it's for the younger folk to decide not this old man.

There's one or two changes outlined would probably make a big difference.

We'd have lost that game last season- we've brought in real experience. Proctor Worrall and Duffus, with a Foley cameo making all the difference. Canavan dictating matters.

We replaced Dean Campbell for Sam Foley.

We’ve got the 19th highest attendance in this league so far and are probably roughly the 19th biggest club - why all of a sudden is that a terrible attendance? Do some people have to find something to whinge about if they can’t find much fault with what’s happening on the pitch?

I used to attend every home match but now lucky if I get to 5 or 6 due to work, some of my colleagues the same. Other people will no doubt work aswell. Combine this with school holidays, other sports being played, and also don’t forget we are in a cost of living crisis where some may not be able to afford the luxury of paying to go to the football at the moment, then attendances may not be where we want them to be. It is what it is

Several clubs will fill our away end so there’s an increase on overall numbers, Just hope an extra 100/150 locals attend more often & id be very surprised if the Wrx game doesn’t bring in 4300/4500+

Nothing to do with increased capacity, the main stand had plenty of empty seats, likewise the new home terrace stand and Holker End.

Nothing to do with increased capacity, the main stand had plenty of empty seats, likewise the new home terrace stand and Holker End.

Yesterday yes, Not the next 2 home games they won’t & my increased capacity was really meaning those big clubs with larger followings will add to our average if you follow my drift
