At 2-3 I was nervous as a bag of nails, but then mooney pulls one out the locker and shows what he's been signed for, credit to the lads there proper wound up their support and had them screeching for everything, few daft things we need to sort out but at least we are attacking games instead of a Fleetwood away last season

What a fantastic result.!Would have loved to have been there.There are various ways to win we not Barcelona and we dug in and did have the guts fight and determination to battle for every thing .So pleased for fans management and players.Listening to the moaning on radio from our neighbours is the icing on the cake.Safe journey home and every one rest up for the next battle home on Tuesday which isn’t far away.

Admittedly, to a neutral it would seem scrappy and gritty and very physical. Murray's post match interview gave an explanation of the number of fouls given, to summarise: a possession based side against an intense pressing side, bound to be lots of contact, ref gave too many. I don't think it is our default tactic - last week against Aldershot it was only 9 fouls apiece.

Team selection and tactics were excellent and it was encouraging that we have so many options and Murray is still willing to play with two wingers and no central forward when up against it late in the game.

PS I will really start believing if we don't get our usual 'after the lord mayor's show' performance on Tuesday night.

I will admit that I haven't been a believer so far, but what if Murray had it bang on about the poison players at the club?

Well that was painful. If you score 4 goals then you deserve to win, but we were naive, not brave enough and defended like amateurs at times. That was probably the worst refereeing display I have seen this or last season, and he contributed to the game becoming push me pull you event. Had he cracked down on al the stuff that went on in the first half, it would have been a far better game of football.
Well done for the result but if that is your normal style then I'm not too sure I would want to watch it regularly.

You’ve got to fight hard to win a football match. It’s the first thing you need. We’d have lost that game with last seasons squad. As Murray said- two teams with different styles/ a hard pressing team against a free scoring side who wants to keep possession, players are going to come together. Not enough wanted to roll the sleeves up last season and it cost us with relegation

I forgot to say, well done to your travelling faithful, all 133 of them. They kept up a lot of noise throughout the game and could be heard above our North Stand lads, who are very vocal.

Brilliant old school ground, a pleasure to watch football, cracking noise, was difficult but like the team we stuck in and at the end it was Youll never take the Barrow reverberating round thr ground.

Game plan worked a treat, weve got an identity. Punk Rock anti football. I will happily watch horrid aggressive beautiful pacey brave football every week!
