Taken from James Phillips
Have seen a few posts saying @BarrowAFC boss Ian Evatt is off to Bolton...

Whilst that’s possible, it’s equally possible that’s an agent/buying club trying to pressurise the selling club, which is why @bbccumbriasport aren’t currently reporting it.

No current comment from BAFC

"After weeks of negotiations, we've come to an agreement with Barrow - to pay them exactly what they asked for, up front like they asked for."

Good luck to him, hope the board hand him a parachute on the way out, he may need it. Hopefully we can move on as a club and let the football do the talking on the pitch next season 😊

I think the "New Manager..." thread is about to set off on it's 150 page target.

All very disappointing.
Promoted. No cup, no celebration no nothing.
Manager does one immediately... eyes lit by the pound signs yet again.
Thanks for getting us up Ian, but it all leaves a bitter taste.
As for Bolton, hope you rot in league 2 for a few seasons...

Can you have more than one "Perfect Storm"?

All this proves is that you can never trust anything in football; at the moment it almost feels like treachery. It's a massive disappointment because we have become accustomed to really attractive football, apart from anything else, including promotion. I hope the incumbent is going to play the same type of possession game. Big shoes to fill in many ways. The board have big decisions to make in appointing a successor, but I have faith in them.
