That is superb , never heard BBRC get as excited about a winner as that.

Just watched the highlights, I bet the ground was bouncing last night, Baker's goal was a screamer.
That BBCRC commentary is class aswell!

Great highlights, enjoyed listening to RC last night, always better when you win though! :D
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

After the win, the best entertainment of the evening was Chris Lynch giving the popular side some stick when they were 2 up, and then refusing to engage even glance at us as 'words of encouragement' were thrown his way when we came back into it. What a muppet

Just listened in to this and is it just me, or is Andy Wood getting more and more into us?

When he first commentated, he seemed disinterested in us but he's really grown into the job.

I genuinely enjoy listening to his commentaries on away games despite the quite often intense irritation that Russell Dodd provokes with his unashamed bias towards us and his obvious hatred of all referee's :)

I don't remember many of James Phillip's commentaries because I was getting to more away games when he was covering us but Andy has definitely grown into a more than adequate replacement and whilst I wish him well in progressing his career behind the mic, I hope he's around for a while longer yet.

Wintergreen wrote:Yes it was one of those rare nights at Holker Street that makes you glad you stick with it. Teams that dare to go two up against us will only have themselves to blame now.

Special mention also for the heroic lady at the single Wilkie Stand turnstile who coped with a large influx of supporters in total darkness. “Is that a ten or a twenty?” Couldn’t one of the Directors have (a) Opened another turnstile? (b) Provided a candle at least?
Totally agree. No light in the turnstile was ridiculous.Very Very poor and embarrassing. How long till each single light on floodlights fail to come on.Must have been H&S issue here?

never hear home match commentary as usually at game but enjoyed this big time.Think Andy Wood is better without Dodd to be honest.Too much interruption from the man and Andy never able to get on a roll.Be good to hear more of RC goal moments on here.

Thought we looked very lethargic first 35 mins.Hunter was vertually anominous Baker trying too hard & Almond .boyes gettin nothing whatsoever into feet & then last ten of 1st half we started to get down & wide & looked more purposeful without reward Early 2nd half looked ok without really takin the game to them .Who by contrast always looked to play with more zest again Hunter was invisable & peo looked to be really struggling .Then came the changes & it was like someone flicked a switch suddenly there was loads of movement ruthers popping up allover Harvey with quick intellegent balls to feet Baker finding more space Almond seeing plenty of the ball .Flynn overlapping .Boyes gettin it at his feet .We could have had even more than Three to be honest .Stonewall pen turned down aswell for me .We have the makings of a very. very good side in my opinion it's just about gettin the right ELEVEN on the pitch from minute one & not minute 70 ? But what is our best ELEVEN !!!!! Who Knows do you cos im uhdecided cud be different players for different opposition Maybe !!!
