Regarding newby, it's the same in every day life. You apply for a job but you don't get it because you don't have the experience - how do you get the experience if you don't get the chance. Same in this position, unless edmo is going to loan him out, which imo would be wrong, he's never going to get the experience. Ffs edmo just play the lad and give him a chance, if it works brilliant and if it doesn't at least you'll have been proved right about something.

Its rare i have a dig at a barrow manager and I've supported edmo from the start but im starting to waver into the is he the right man to build a squad good enough to push for promotion in the next couple of seasons , the recruitment in the summer was poor at best, its long long long time since I've seen a squad (cooky , livesy , jw and our LOAN right back g Williams excluded they do connect with the fans imo), with as little passion towards the fans its shocking ,Edmo has to tell them to clap the fans win lose or draw ,we have passion and in my opinion to wear the badge of the bluebirds so should they! Today was pathetic and im afraid if Edmo doesn't recruit better in Jan and the summer if he's still manager by then the barra public Will properly turn , history tells us when the barra fans want a imanager gone its not long before it happens!! The sending off can't be blamed for the result holy today once again we just weren't good enough imo..

There isn't a bus stop there.

Pilkington never should have been given a new contract good player or not you cannot risk taking on a player with a history of injuries,with wilson he was on a 2year deal so our hands were tied,the question that needs asking is are our players fit enough and who assesses players who have been out injured and are deemed fit to play because pilks played the other week and no way was he fit.

Having been to only three away games this season I must have picked three very bad ones. Yesterday was beyond poor. I can stand and watch our team get beat but get beat without showing any passion and desire is something I cannot watch. There were of course a few players that were exempt from my last statement. The sending off was correct, Pilks looks like a player who doesn't want to be with us anymore. Haworth yesterday was he actually on the pitch? Ant Wilson unfortunately is a liability and I feel sorry for the lad as I think his injuries will hamper the rest of his career. When Cookie took a knock why the hell did Edmo not have him subbed straight away instead he left him struggling for ten minutes before he did. As many have said on other threads where would we be without him I just hope by keeping him on the clueless manager has made it worse. Best part of the day was bringing Young Newby on he actually changed the game in our favour, what are we supporters able to see that our manager can't. As for Grimes and van der dog shite well they wouldn't get into my Sunday league fantasy team! We have had some good times under Edmo but it is clearly obvious he has reached his level and taken us as far as he is able. I for one will not venture to another away game whilst he is in charge. It is quite clear that Edmo needs to replaced by a manager that can give us passionate supporters a team to cheer and follow as we are now fans will be leaving us in droves. My season ticket doesn't feel like a very good idea of mine, as I'm sure if I was paying I would find something else to do until you Mr Edmondson have gone. Anyone want to by a season ticket it's going cheap.

To be fair, it's happened three or four times this season where Cook's taken a knock, hobbled around for 10 mins and then been fine to continue. Only he can know if he's genuinely injured and not just smarting a bit from a strong tackle.
Plus at that point he was our only striker left, and I'm sure, only hope of winning the game. Bit harsh to pin that one on Edmo, when he's got a lot more to answer for.

Wilson can [SwearFilter] off for me - waving to come off after 10 mins - the whole thing stinks - I'm probably way off the mark but my gut feeling is he's taking the [SwearFilter] out of the club - there have been times in his career (not just Barrow) when he's been assessed as fit and then said he just doesn't feel right -

Cook on the otherhand wants to play - and he looked disappointed when he came off yesterday

It was embarrassing yesterday - most of the crowd was from Barrow and they expect a bit of fight and passion - yet that's what we get -

Maybe Edmo was referring to Barrow being a car crash waiting to happen.

Absolutely awful performance. Baker ran the game unopposed. Our midfield was anonymous.

Sub's although mostly forced were shite, Haworth was poor but with cook pilks and Wilson all coming off he needed to stay on, at 1 down we should have been putting newby on for one of the defensive midfielders.

Funny how the so called shite and not good enough Baker and Rowe were better than every single one of our players.
