17/18 VNL - Solihull Moors 3 - 3 Barrow

Not sure everyone watched the same game I saw. Solihull started the better (at least one clear chance), before our scruffy opener. Our second was simply a moment genius fit to grace any match.
Game was pretty end to end for the most part (too much in the air for my liking). At the end when we threw moussa up to centre forward, they looked more like scoring a fourth than we looked like getting an equaliser.
Opinions, what are they worth?

Dunne was booked against Woking after a scuffle which could have escalated into a red,as it was he got yellow. Seems
he,s provoked a bit too easily. Don't know what went on tonight but that,s two cards in two games and not much in
replacements.

Two freak goals. Dunne loses plot; Second half capitulation. Back four ripped apart. Utterly useless Solihull keeper survives second half without single shot on goal from open play; Solihull dominate battle in the air,Jordan White and Asa Hall go missing; injured Yusseff replaced by palpably unfit Cockerline. Gomis immense again; Fears that novice referee would do us no favours proved positive as Solihull play him like a fiddle; Repeated rolling of two balls onto the pitch at throw-ins used in bizarre time wasting tactic by the "Mighty Moors"; Claims that referee is a homer dashed in favour of referee is just plain useless after extremely dubious penalty awarded to save blushes in 96th minute. Moussa Diarra nominated for freedom of Barrow for refusing to relinquish possession whilst charging into opposition penalty area before collapsing like shot giraffe (NB. He did exactly the same in virtually the same spot last season with the same outcome). Rather angry scenes at full-time whistle between fans questions wisdom of no segregation; Cox embraced in passionate post-match clinch by irate fans.

What actually happened with the alleged spitting incident on Dunne? Can anyone there clarify?

The barrow Fans were behind the dugouts watching the penalty, dunne came out apologised to the fans and one Solihull lad said something to jimmy about elbowing his brother. After the penalty went in the bloke spat on dunne. There was then afters with Liam Hughes and the bloke. The stewards weren't bothered until it was kicking off with the Solihull lad. Then it was all going off with the stewards and barrow and even some Solihull fans after the whistle

Just a point on that. I dropped my phone and went back in the ground when the head steward was bollocking the others about why they didn't get the chaps name who was in the cap. Discusting. I honestly thought Hughes was going to batter him. Lots of passion tonight but went from brilliant to shite very quickly. Fair do to Dunn for coming out and apologising. That was an evening to forget. And the m6 is a [SwearFilter]

Safe drive back through to Armthorpe. Up in 3 hours for another day on the grind.

Well he wasn't wanted. Desperate attempts were made to shift him. Over pre season hes been fairly regular and is now getting gametime.

A loss or a draw on Saturday would mean 1 win in 5. Relegation form that, regardless of what category of fan you believe people fit in.

Very disappointing to give away 3 goals in 12 mins against the poorest side in the league even with 10 men. Undefeated in 3 matches but 2 of them drawn and those 3 against 3 teams who will be in the fight to avoid the relegation spots. However, I'll wait to judge Barrow when Yussef and Harrison start together as I suspect they will be the best strikers at the club by a distance and a pair that will trouble anybody in this league. Both have pace and and eye for goal.

Despite throwing away a winning position, shouldn't be doing when comfortably in control at half time, I think they showed good strength of character for a newly assembled team to grab a point at the death!
The standard of refereeing is frustratingly bad.
