Really? Define a real fan..As a season tkt holder I support the team in all weathers by my presence,sponsorship through all forms of lottery and any fundraising and clap and cheer and shout as loud as anyone to encourage the team.Any true supporter of the club is concerned at any behaviour by yobs which brings club into disrepute whether started by home or away fans.It also puts people off from attending .The sound of all the sirens at the end of the match will not have advertised the venue as a good safe place for people considering whether to bring the next generation of budding fans to see the game.The forum is a place for people to express opinions concerning all aspects of how the club runs how team performs and suggestions as to improvements both with team and how club is managed.A true fan supports club through thick and thin but is not blind to faults in management of their club ,team ,stewarding as well as praising when team plays well or public relations work done well.If you really cared about this institution you would know that but then On reflection I don’t think you can be a true fan.

Agreed the away fans should be kept in for 10 minutes. Our police liaison officer is clueless. You never been to an away game Anne, It happens everywhere it’s banter. And finally, the police allowing Swindon fans to wander up to the Holker street corner exit gate, and bait home fans was an absolute joke, one day it will kick off seriously, but not until then will the pathetic policing be looked at. As for the smoke flare, was it really that big a deal.

So the policing is pathetic but they should have let the lad who chucked the flare on get away with it? With mixed messaging like that you’d fit in well on Boris Johnsons cabinet!

Contact the club if you feel away fans should be locked in for 10/15 minutes after a game, it’s them that will have to foot the bill for extra policing every game to allow this to happen, sure they will be delighted to hear a suggestion as to how to spend yet more money off the field whilst everyone moans we haven’t bought a striker

READ my comments re-police if you`re actually so bothered contact the police like i did ,oh no you will not do that because it`s so easy to criticise on here and do NOTHING, at least i will meet people face to face to try to resolve things unlike some ! The police also have meetings with our Safety group so you could contact our Fans Liason person (chris ) so you have no excuses now, can`t wait for your feedback .

Wrong again have two goalkeepers plus the Charles Kendal Nike away one.when younger went to quite a lot of away games when played lower level.

As have stated on previous post I have been to quite a few away games of barrow over previous years when played at a lower level.I know all about banter indulged in it myself but sometimes it easily merges into more personal insults which can lead to missile throwing and worse.If you think the flare throwing was not that big a deal then you are part of the problem .Have seen the banter of Barrow boy running across the road from the traffic lights to a queue of people getting on a coach and punching some one and running off back to his mates.I realise away supporters can be as bad sometimes worse.There is no place for it in the sport will just deter people going.

This is all getting a bit messy now isn't it. To conclude: The police officers and the delegated crowd control officer just need to exercise a bit of COMMON SENSE in future regarding the movements after the game of away supporters who have travelled by train. Not a lot to ask really.

Be great to see the individual that threw the smoke flare get as long a ban as is possible. Make an example of them . Will they ..I doubt it and hence the police and club condoning it.

That's hardly a reliable measure. I went to Redditch away; it was the first match I'd been to in years.

Love this bit in particular "The second one Ben Gladwin is pulled by their player before making the tackle, he then has to lunge in, he still gets the ball and he still gets a penalty for that".

Ben clearly has an unfortunate way with words. The fact that he feels that you can construct a case where a defender quite legitimately "lunges" at an attacker in the penalty area, sort of undermines your case, Ben.

Neither can you be pulled into a lunge. If anything a lunge would result from a push not a pull.

Anyway Ben, the EFL Show unanimously disagreed with you on both penalties. And someone get Ben a thesaurus for xmas.

Grow up.Am not getting in a competition over who has what or who has spent most in cub shop over years.It’s not how much you spend or what you have got or how many games you been to but how much you care about the club.I shall continue to post on here when I want to do get used to it or skip to next entry.
