We’ve got a good home record against teams above Bradford City so if we replicate that form, we shall be safe.behind the goals wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 7:27 pm Well that`s the easy game out of the way, the last 8 fixtures are very difficult matches how many Pts can we get, the 4 homes games will probably go like the other 19 games, our record at home against the current bottom sides up to Bradford is P10 W0 D6 L4 even getting 4 draws would be good.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
You are right, but none of the midfielders were given the opportunity to play. This is what happens with long ball. Only have Holloway to deal with it, and don’t think he was that bad, but not good enough. We don’t have the players to play long ball.

Always makes me laugh when out of the usual two holding midfielders White gets subbed off every week and most weeks since he signed his new contract Banks has been poor

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Better Team won today that was the last game of the so called big 5, well 5pts from them on to the next big 8 would take 8pts all day long, hope Orient can beat another poor team on Tuesday.
Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Your right HK Banks has been poor. I think he’s been poor for quite a while but a lot on here view him with rose coloured glasses. He,s neat and tidy passing sideways and backwards but he’s our attacking midfielder but rarely plays an attacking pass. He’s slow so doesn’t get forward much, can’t tackle at all and gets booked . Think he’s had more cards than shots. I think he gives everything but just not good enough. Maybe wrong but we seemed to score more goals when we had Zanzala , even though he couldn’t hit a barn door.
Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Banks has been poor needs to be benched for a spell. Jason Taylor needs to retire legs have gone can only think Neil McDonald was behind his selection based on the backend of last year. Josh Gordon is absolutely useless the sooner we can pack him off somewhere the better, time to go to a 4 at the back. Sick of seeing Gotts play wingback. This is how we should line up at home to Port Vale.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Gonna have to have a major re-shuffle of personnel that's for sure after yesterday's second half no-show. Agree with majority on here the Orient game should be Gordon and Taylor's last in a Barrow shirt. Banks, like the majority of our current squad would do well in the Vanarama, football league players I'm afraid they are not. Major concern is that yesterday, the Carlisle and Rochdale games have looked like cup ties where we're playing teams from a league above us at the very least. Besides the lack of ideas in every department we don't seem nearly as fit as the opposition players. Are they getting an easy ride Monday to Friday? Certainly looks like it once we go past the 70 minute mark in most games.

FORZA BLUEBIRDS , finally got to a game and what a fantastic turn out from the Barrow fans , made my day. Shame the result on the pitch didn’t go our way but they just didn’t turn up for the second half, like two different teams. Lucky again results went our way, perhaps we might just scrap over the line to safety but l don’t think it will be our doing.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
I've said this all along, listened to Brown's interview the guy seems genuinely frustrated, I wouldn't be surprised ( if he's fit ) to put Tom Beadling back in either defence or midfield before anyone over reacts think about this he was many people's man of the match against Northampton and was unlucky to get sent off against Scunny ,at least the lad plays with his heart on his sleeve and not scared to put a foot in and he scores the odd goal, we need player's like him not like some do just showboating on the pitch we also miss Connor brown another player who gives everything!blumooncrab wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 10:24 amAgree on the fitness point - something not quite right .mulholland wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 7:33 am Gonna have to have a major re-shuffle of personnel Are they getting an easy ride Monday to Friday? I personally would take the armband off banks and give it to brough he deserves it !, is banks problem of being scared of being booked then he misses 3 games?, if it's this then we have a problem, I'm sure brown will sort it but until then Come on Orient!

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
The deadline for 15 bookings has now passed. Banks was on 14 and facing another 3game ban on top of his previous 1 at 5 games and a further 2at 10 matches
Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Stevens needs a look in, to be honest there's no one in the side that deserves to keep their place at the moment.
Popular side since '03.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Yeah there’s a few that seem to play every game so giving some out of favour players a start can’t do any worse than we are anyway?
Stevens was great at the start of the season, Sea, Kay, James (injured?), Wakelin and Harris? Mike Jones is still knocking about too.
