Paul Hornby did say that players have a relegation clause if we did end up going down and they would be looking to save around 900k on the playing budget if that happened. Giving us around 2 million playing budget in the National League. It would probably also involve other staff cuts too.

He wasn’t released - he was sold and all of the guys who replaced him individually and collectively are worse . So how stupid is that ?

Stanway made a couple of good saves first half, gifted them the third but we don’t make it easy for him continually passing back to him in difficult positions.
Second goal was a good finish. Salford a good side miles better than us.
We did ok in spells, look weak at the back Salford tore us apart a few times.

Glimmer of hope more players coming back and we had a bit of a go. Got to keep going and backing them as hard as it is. Good supportive ovation from fans at the end.

He was a donkey .
He went to Scotland for a fee and was promptly got rid of to that big team Harrogate
He has not scored a goal at Dundee nor Harrogate .
Bean stalk and beans comes to mind.

Getting £100k for Acquah was a great move; people can say whatever now we’ve seen the replacements but at the time all of us would have taken that, and look where he is now, back in League Two not scoring. The problem was we thought that money would be used to sign someone like Pressley as an a example, instead we got Cameron, Hemmings and Walker

Observations from watching thr highlights.
1st goal looked like a big suspicion of offside.
2nd goal bad defending.
Our goal - ive said this before and copped some flack but I didnt see a team together later Rose scored, he himself was barely bothered, quite a detected body language and only Harper seemed to run to him to celebrate MJ literally tunred and jogged back for the restart. No real urgency about going to grab the ball out of the net, something not right in the group.
3rd goal, well what do you say, Stanway may have made some good saves but what a howler!

A very tough run in for us and as much as I want to be glass half full im looking at which clubs we'll be visiting in the national league next season

Great news, let’s hope he can get 20/30 mins on Saturday and MJ the same
It’s far too late sadly (and the back 4 is job [SwearFilter] for the season anyway) but at least next Saturday at home if we can line up with Smith, MJ and McCann in midfield with Newby and Barky either side of Rose we’ve at least got a team that half looks like it should be in league two

Barkhuizen and Whitfield on the flanks and I’d agree. Newby for me should be nowhere near the team but just shows how poor we are that he’s playing regularly. Can’t beat a man, can’t cross always gets blocked as he’s tried one too many step overs, and when he does get in positions is end product is awful. Skied one out of the ground last night when others were well placed. He’s one of the reasons we are where we are. Not good enough for league 2. Contrast that with Barkhuizen who can actually beat a man and get a cross in.
Oh for a fit Ben Whitfield sadly think it’ll be too late though when he is back if it’s not already.
