Battery drill sorted (thanks to a poster who wishes to remain anon) so a transformer takes it's place.

Another really generous offer of a brand new chop saw (which is quite a dear piece of kit & certainly would of been beyond our resource's atm) off another anon poster.

Offers such as this, the jigsaw, the generator, the kit bag of sport's gear etc have massively helped out but we still need items to sell (read my OP) You find something & we'll pick it up from you & hopefully sell it, doesn't matter if it only raise's a fiver, that goes towards a set of disc's for the chop saw or steelwork for some job around the ground.
There have been some very, very kind offers of equipment (don't stop them coming in :D ) but there must be items that you have lying around that we could sell to raise just that little extra, take a quick look around your garage, shed or loft.

Put a bit of pressure on the anon poster who gave the money for the chop saw to let me give his name as I think it's important to let people know who has helped out + he didn't want another poster to look like he'd outdone him (friendly rivalry ;) so back to you, "outdone poster")
It was Geoff Payne who also made the fantastic donations on the Forum sponsorship run by Ste, so thanks very much Geoff.

Offers of items to sell have dried up a little so please have a quick clearout & make some space for all your crimbo prezzie's that'll be arriving on the back of Santa's sledge in another month. It really is important that we have a little cash at hand for items that we'll need to pay out for.

I said I'd keep you updated on money raised so far through donations & the selling of donated items & it stands at £97.00 (I thought it was going to be £100.00 last week but was a little out on the value I placed on something.

That'd be great but at the moment I couldn't fit it in anytime on Saturday but if you pm me a contact number I'll give you a bell & try & arrange something for Sunday.

Thanks for that, anything that we get will go straight into the maintenance pot.

I won two tickets for the corporate last week off BSB but with it being an FA Cup game I wanted to be in the HSE, so after getting an e-mail off a guy from their spot I replied with "would there be any chance of selling them so any money raised could go towards a project we have running atm" & then told him about the maintenance area.
Then at the end threw in would they be interested in sponsoring something in the maintenance area (old Survial Fund day's habit's are hard to get rid of  )

The tickets couldn't be passed on due to the T's & C's of the competition but he said he was interested in the sponsorship side & would be passing my e-mail onto their team that deals with that sort of thing as it would be good to highlight something like this (I suppose from their point of view as well as our's) and he'll get back to me,

Nothing concrete yet but worth a mention all the same, I'll keep everyone posted on what, if anything comes of this.

After doing a bit more down there today we've just realised how much scrap metal there is lying around so we're going to shove it all together & get it weighed in.
That got me thinking, has anyone got any bit's & pieces of scrap metal that we could throw in with what we already have? doesn't have to be a lot but when it's all put together it could raise £50-60-100.
This is another way of raising money without affecting any fundraising efforts by the club or BDF, please have a look around for anything, such as hinges, gates, old tools, a boiler, metal fence post's & I'll either pick it up or if you could arrange a time to meet me at the ground we will store it there.
