What exactly are you basing Obi's inclusion on, particularly in that role?? Seems a rather bizarre suggestion to me.

So basically everyone wants Hessey at centre back, apart from that a lot of different teams

Because he was the first player Bayliss brought in and based on his pre season games, he looked a tricky, busy player who could cause problems and win free kicks in dangerous areas. What's bizarre about that? or do we keep flogging the 442 that isn't working? We can't keep doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.

Yeah- for one game- This is the line up i'd like to see for a run of games.

footballs all about opinions. What would be your preferred line up to try and change our fortunes? I think our wing play has been innefective and we've been a bit light in the centre.

I liked Obi in pre-season, but from what I saw he's never the type of player that would suit playing in the hole just behind a front two. He's very much the type of player who would be most effective playing on the shoulder of the last defender and using his pace to cause problems.

Put Almond where you've got Obi and Jackson where you've got Almond and I could see the logic in your team (though wouldn't necessarily be the side I'd pick).

I'd swap Owen and Harvey around and I'd swap Baker for Almond. As much as Hessey is never an LB I just don't think I could bare Skelts playing.
