"Newport had over 100 people to clear their pitch , so I would imagine a similar number would be required."

Sadly 100 on a Saturday Morning are much easier to find than 100 on a workday! Although i'm sure we will give it a go!

Sadly I'm at work all day, but here's a little sneak preview of what faces you at the FBS.

Shame them portacabins/skips etc are there, ruins what would have made a brilliant photo for one of Ste's canvas's.
Do the terraces etc need clearing or is it just the pitch?

Terraces as well as the pitch. I spent last Tuesday sweeping all the water from the stand so hopefully that area will be ok. It's a big ask for a Tuesday with people working but we will give it a go.

Indeed, club should have put on an incentive perhaps, half price entry to anyone who helps or something.

Well done to anyone that goes, we'll know who to thank if we have a game tonight.

I don't think we should be looking for incentives. I am happy to do what I do for nothing especially when we need every penny we can save.

STOP PRESS: Volunteers are still being requested to report to the club to help supervise the volunteers who are refitting the snow (or natural thermal barrier as the club are now calling it) that was taken off earlier by the other volunteers who reported at 10:30 am to (Cont Pg.94)
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
