A result like that would certainly bring everybody down to earth, Matty.

Always difficult to predict first game results as nothing other than meaningless friendly form to go on. They haven't directly replaced Miller going with a centre-back turned striker. They have like us lost a squad member ,described as a tough-tackling midfielder, in a friendly at the weekend, with a bad ankle injury. My heart says a good 3-1 win, my head says a feisty 1-1 draw with a possible red card on either side.

There won't be a red card for us on Sat Skipper, Padz isn't playing.

This guy may have a valid point you know! Yes I agree every game this season will be like a cup final!!

Now then BostonBob. I think our new players are a bit better quality than you are giving them credit for but agree we have no divine right to win the league. As for Saturday, will likely be a close affair but still confident we can get 3 good points to start the season so going for 1-2. As for your thoughts about how many we will bring you better stand by for a surprise mate.
