Couldn't get to the game yesterday but caught the latter part on Radio Cumbria. What a difference to last week. A commentator and summariser who worked together really well. John Goodwin waited until Gary Woodworth had finished speaking before passing his comments.

What a good summariser John is - not afraid to point out the Barrow mistakes if they make any. No rose tinted specs just a good honest appraisal of what he was seeing in front of him. And of course as a former player and manager he knows what he's talking about.

If John can't get to the away games it would be nice to see Radio Cumbria look for a former player who might have some insight and knowledge to act as a summariser.

Tried to listen to the BBC Radio Cumbria commentary of the GTFC game on my phone last weekend from here in NZ, and when I attempted to download the BBC App, was advised it wasn't available in NZ. Anyone else have this problem when they have tried to do this in their corner of adopted LA14-land around the world?

I think it's the app causing you the problems. I listen to every match by going directly to the BBC RC website or with Tune In Radio. The only time this is a problem is FA Cup games... I use a VPN for listening to these matches. Send me a PM if you want to know more about the VPN I use.

Getting the same problem in Belize. Worked great last season, the new BBC App which has to be downloaded is not available 'where I live', rely now on someone with a kind heart updating the match thread

Tried it Mark Mc, BBC still say that I can't download the App as it is not available where I live (Belize, once known as British Honduras, part of the British Commonwealth, HM The Queen on all our bank notes and coins, the only English speaking country in Central America), just got to look for updates on Facebook or the game thread

Have you tried via a laptop or pc LDBF

Yes, tried them all, used to have great reception on my Galaxy SIII cell phone and on my lap-top, both now need a new App which I can't download as it is unavailable. Not too worry my own fault for coming to live in this God-foraken country.

I presume the game is on normal AM but not online which is fabulous stuff from RC if so - I really hope I am wrong otehrwise it would appear the local media are not having a great day in terms of the club today

RC on twitter only mentioned AM.

Its usually on when I tune in even AM it kinda switches over to the game, but i am not finding it anywhere, ive change my work day around being home to tune in and can not find it,doubly hacked off grrr

Summariser is Dave Conlin. Sounds OK. Wonder if he can do away games?
